I had the most amazing chickpea dish with veggies and nuts. So much flavor, really exceptional. I had them alter the warm brussels sprouts salad to exclude meat, which was no issue. My partner had the tuna, and her dish was altered to remove bacon. We both raved over our meals. We shared the banana bread pudding dessert, which was... More

This is the "go to" place when we want to be sure we will have exciting food, but with the confidence it will be great. And the wine list is great as well. It is not the cheapest place in the area, but value is commensurate for the outstanding food.

Dinner our second night on the Monterey Peninsula. Passionfish earns its rating! The staff is extremely pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable. They truly seem to enjoy their jobs and want to make your visit a memorable one. Each course of our dinner was delicious and share worthy. Everything that my wife and I had was great from the salad/ appetizer to... More

We went on the spur of the moment on a Tuesday night about 1730, and being seated was no problem. The service was attentive, but there was a lengthy wait between salad and entrée. The curry salad was delicious as was the chick pea stew. Wines are price at just about retail and the list is extensive. Especially like a... More

We ate here because it is rated No. 1 in Pacific Grove on TripAdvisor. We're very glad we did—it deserves the rating. We enjoyed the intimacy inside; the service was excellent—very helpful, and friendly; and the food was outstanding. We shared the avocado and crab salad as an appetizer and we probably won't ever do that again—we will each order our... More

After a most unfortunate meal in nearby Carmel the previous evening, we were fibally able to return here almost 15 years to the day when we visited last. "OvertheTop" is all we can say after a lovely, tasty and intimate dinner last night. Amanda was a server and admiittedly a student in her craft. When I first passed her by... More

The fried oysters with kimchee salad were excellent, with a light crisp breading outside and hot but moist and fresh insides. The kimchee salad added a nice spicy contrast. Halibut was elegant and cooked perfectly.

We needed a place for 13 guests and someone recommended Passionfish. They were so accommodating and the food and wine was all delicious. The wine prices were also very reasonable. A great find!!

My husband and I ate here 10 years ago when visiting the area and had a very memorable meal. We are now on vacation here again, this time with our kids in tow, and were happily surprised to see Passionfish still gets great reviews so we decided to return. All four of us were very happy with our meals. They... More

Went on recommendation of hotel concierge and so glad we did! We were looking for a casual seafood restaurant but what we found at Passionfish was so much more than that: INCREDIBLE food - all of their seafood is sustainable and this is explained to you so you feel good about your choices.. in addition, we had a delightful server...
