The Point Pinos Grill is associated with Pacific Grove's public golf course, but is open to the public in an unequalled location across the street from the lighthouse. The Bay and the Ocean are both in view, above the Monterey Cypress and the manicured greens and fairways. The prices are very reasonable, and the food is well prepared and served.... More

A golf course grill across from the Lighthouse and the ocean. The server was friendly and helpful. The food was good.

The warmed seasoned nuts are amazing. We had wonderful roast beef and albacore tuna sandwiches, nice view, very friendly server. Not just for golfers.

Stopped here for a late lunch after visiting the lighthouse, and did not expect much from a small grill on a golf course. But the clam chowder was excellent! Kids had the sliders and we all shared garlic fries and they were awesome. Would definitely recommend this place. The service was exception as well.

We finally found the entrance to the Point Pinos Lighthouse (on Asilomar Drive, not the 17 mile drive) but arrive a half hour before it opened. What to do but have lunch! The Point Pinos Grill is right across the street. The grill is part of the infrastructure and club house for the golf course. The food was tasty and... More

Being that my Godson's wedding reception was being held here, and we were close by, we ended up having lunch before the rehearsal and breakfast the day after his wedding. With a delightful setting overlooking the golf course, bay/ocean, and close to Point Pinos Lighthouse and our hotel, PPG delivered with excellent food for all three of our eating experiences... Walked here for lunch one day and was craving clam chowder. We had Vivolo's Chowder house earlier in the week and their soup was much better. We did have garlic fries and those were good here. Nice relaxed vibe overlooking golf course and some ocean views. Would return and try some of their sandwiches or burgers though or breakfast.

The Grill is at the golf club and the view was very" Monterey Peninsula". We had a very good breakfast ranging from breakfast burrito to Eggs Benedict. Excellent service and no crowd at 10:00 on a Sunday morning.

Thank Scott M
