Moqueca is an awesome place to go for Lunch. The location which right at the marina makes for a great view. My favorite is the shrimp salad but I have ordered the shrimp moqueca and it is amazing. You can't leave without having their plantains yummm. I have been there for dinner however, I found it to be a bit... More

Not sure how this is the number one restaurant in Oxnard. Some of the food was good but some of it not so much. The atmosphere is very nice. Do not order the scallop appetizer. Scallops were barely the size of a nickel and some half the size. They were dried out and hard. Could barely shred them off the... More

Fresh and flavorful with an unique twist as everything is served with Brazilian flare. The moqueca bowls are delicious. Service is attentive without feeling like you're being rushed out the door. Great place to watch the Christmas boat parade in the Channel Islands marina.

Harbor side Brazilian cuisine. NOT a steakhouse. The namesake dish is a seafood stew prepared in a clay pot. Well seasoned, but not spicy. We dine here several times a year and have never had a bad experience. We get the moqueca as well as the fried plantains. There is enough for dinner as well as lunch the following day,... More

First time trying Brazilian Cuisine. I'm not certain what I really expected, but it was incredible. I can't wait to go back my next trip to Oxnard.

We really like the idea of trying something new, and this was a great find at a reasonable price. You can sit outside on the covered patio and have a fantastic view of the harbor. Service was quick, informative, friendly and attentive. I had the fish and mixed shellfish moqueca and it was delicious. Not spicy, but full of flavor.... More

I had lunch there and it was one of the best meals I ever had. The server was great . The portions were huge . The menu is huge and they have a great wine list. I will definitely go back. The view is so pretty make sure you get a window table.

We went to dinner here on a Friday night. The food was okay. Service was good. My husband ordered a side dish that was forgotten. If this is the #1 in Oxnard then the city has a poor eating scene.

First time we went there, my husband ordered a dish that was so spicy, he almost choked. He asked the waitress why she didn't tell him it was so spicy and she said she thought he knew. Food was marginal. Second time we went, we went with a group of people and the food again was marginal.
