Meet a work colleague for a drink this week for drinks and snacks. The wine was great but the buffalo wings were not. My fault since it may not be the thing to order at an Irish Bar. Also - it did not seem right that you can't get the Happy Hour deal unless you are at the bar.

This is a good local hang out for a beer and pub food. Good place to meet friends for a beer or grab a quick bite.

Visited Rooney's for lunch for the first time yesterday. Great authentic Irish food and small batch craft beer along with other well known beer brands. They also had more traditional menu items like sliders and salads. The service was also very warm and friendly. We will definitely return.

The place was clean, had good tasting food and service with a smile. there was a nice patio to eat on if you would like to dine outdoors.

I went with a few friend to knock back a beer or 2 and to have something to eat. The service was no-existent, my guess because we did,t sat at the bar? When we did get feed the food was fair to almost good. but the service sucked hard, once we got out food we never saw the same server... More

Went there for a business meeting and ordered the Cobb salad. It tasted just fine and was of decent size. I also ordered iced tea with no notable problem. Approximately 12:45 a.m., I made the mad dash for the toilet. An hour and a half later, I was able to leave the throne. I had not eaten since three, so... More

Traveling up the coast we were staying in Santa Maria. The hotel gave us a list of places to eat and Rooney's was our pick after seeing the photos of the pics on Yelp. But I must say that photos do not do this food justice. It was absolutely delicious. We each had a small Caesar salad, the Shepard's pie... More

apparently not as I've been there three times. This time I've learned. Last two most recent times was abysmal. First time was a large group so I don't judge a place too harshly on that. Awful service, awful food, it was like being on a ship where the captain fell overboard and it was drifting aimlessly down the river. And... More

After overhearing a comment that I miss going out dancing, some friends invited me to join them at Rooney's for tapas before going out. Expecting to eat then drive somewhere we sat down and ordered nachos and chicken strips (which were average pub food quality). Our waitress seemed annoyed the whole time and I didn't understand until they started moving... More
