About
The Auld Dubliner Irish Pub was created to bring the spirit of a traditional Irish pub to the beautiful Sierra Mountains of California. With its dark wooden floors and authentic decor, the Auld Dubliner has the feel of a village pub in rural Ireland. It brings to life a culture of hearty food and drink, good music, warm hospitality, and friendly banter. We offer authentic Irish Fayre and American classics, with a menu selection ranging from Shepherd's Pie or Fish & Chips to our perfectly seared Ahi Tuna Salad. Appetizers, sandwiches, and burgers round out the menu, featuring Boar's Head premium sandwich meats and Painted Hills all natural grass-fed beef. Our new breakfast menu is sure to satisfy

Visited during an off time, so it was not at all busy. We happened to be walking around the village and saw that the patio was dog friendly so we decided to have a drink - didn't eat so we can't comment on the food....The service was attentive and friendly. Drinks were served quick and cold! What more could we ask for? As a skier, I can totally appreciate a good apres-ski experience and I could envision what this place would be like after a great day on the slopes - hope to visit again one day soon!More

I was pleasantly surprised. Fish and chips were some of the best I've had. Fish was cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and white & flakey inside. Fries were extra crispy, as I requested. The brussels sprout salad was outstanding. I only wish it...has been brought out as an appetizer rather than with the entre. Service was fast and friendly. Outdoor dining was fantastic on a nice October evening in 2020. Good COVID 19 compliance.More

food (burger and fish & chips) was good & beer was cold! Our server was attentive and helpful. Guinness was poured properly, though no shamrock.

PLENTY of indoor and outdoor seating, excellent food and service. I should have asked for the onions to be grilled, but other than that, it was the best burger I’ve had in a while. The burger came with choice of fries, salad or veggies...we both...had the salad, very fresh, and the dressing was very tasty. We ordered an appetizer of stuffed tater tots, it was covered in bacon and cheese, yum!More

We were so glad to hear that this locally owned restaurant is now open for indoor and patio dining. We enjoyed the view of the mountains, fine customer service from Sarah, and tasty food. My husband thinks they have the best fish and chips in...California. This was our third visit and we will be back. If you get a chance to meet the owner, he is very personable. We highly recommend this establishment.More

We were looking for a place to have dinner on a Monday night and many places were closed. Searching the web for a good place to eat, we stumbled upon this pub. Since the sign outside says "Irish Pub", I would've never thought the food...would be so good. A good sign was that the place was packed (35min wait for a table) and since we had no rush, we signed up. We had a Bloody Mary (amazing by the way) and a couple of beers (the selection is pretty good) during our wait and time flew by. After sitting down, the waiters were super friendly. Recommended the artichoke as a starter, which was really tasty, and ordered the burgers as main course. The burgers were delicious, exactly what we were looking for. The menu has a wide variety of options, but highly recommend the burger. Definitely will go back on my next visit!More

Visiting Squaw Valley even though it is between summer and snow season, October. Someone recommended Auld Dubliner Irish Pub and we were not disappointed. Visited Ireland a few years back and tried out some Irish Pubs there but none of them could compare to Auld...Dubliner. Absolutely the very best bloody mary's, burger and fish & chips we ever tasted. Our waiter was a very friendly young man who gave us some info about the area. We sat at the windows and enjoyed our lunch. It was such a pleasure, wish you were back in Florida and close to where we live.More

While visiting Squaw Valley we ran across this place and had to stop in as it is two years ago this time of year we were in Ireland. The men sipped Red Breast 21 and Bushmill 21 while we ladies enjoyed Smithwicks just like in...Ireland. The furniture and floor are from Ireland. The music American. Still Irish enough for us to laugh over fond memories of Portrush, Trim and Killarney!More

Since this is a public forum you would be best served to call the restaurant directly. Here is their number: +1 (530) 584-6041.

Can't answer that! But they have the best hamburgers! Ask for steamed veggies instead of fries. Delicious!
