Good bar food with some creativity. A good beer selection, and some very well made cocktails. Friendly service.

Staying at nearby Squaw Valley Resort and my husband and I went into the Village for dinner one night. We both had the Boxty...Chicken and Salmon. Had no idea what Boxty was, but the waitress described it perfectly. Basically a potato crepe filled/topped with the various meat options. A very rich but delicious dish, and the vegetables on the side... More

We loved the food and ended up eating both lunch and dinner here on our first day. The Chicken Boxty was fantastic!!! The Shepherd's Pie and Guinness Beef Stew are also really good. There's an outside patio with great views. Bring a sweater in case it gets chilly (it can get downright cold on summer nights). They keep the doors... More

Poorly staffed and couldn't get seated despite multiple empty tables. True mountain employees that could care less about service.

Drinks were good and server was nice, but slow service. Stopped in here two different times, neither were very busy but service was still slow.

6/12/16. Stopped in on a Sunday for lunch. Not particularly busy but they were obviously understaffed. We were seated right away but then waited nearly 15 minutes without even a water. After staff walked by several times ignoring my attempts to get their attention, we left without anyone noticing.

We are here two nights and wished we had more opportunities. Star of the menu was salmon boxty - type of potato pancake that I was completely unfamiliar with. Also had one with corned beef that was ok but not outstanding. Drunken mussels were also great. Sheppards pie and fish n chips also good. Still had bangers and mashed and... More

Food was okay and pricey. Great Bloody Mary though. This is a perfect location for getting something in you before a day on the hill.

Food was pretty good. The service was slow... Took one hour to get our food and no refills on drinks. When we asked the waitress how much longer it would be, she didn't realize we hadn't eaten yet.

The Dubliner is somewhere I would definitely recommend to friends and other visitors. It was great food, good priced and service was excellent.

Description
The Auld Dubliner Irish Pub was created to bring the spirit of a traditional Irish pub to the beautiful Sierra Mountains of California. With its dark wooden floors and authentic decor, the Auld Dubliner has the feel of a village pub in rural Ireland. It brings to life a culture of hearty food and drink, good music, warm hospitality, and friendly banter.

We offer authentic Irish Fayre and American classics, with a menu selection ranging from Shepherd's Pie or Fish & Chips to our perfectly seared Ahi Tuna Salad. Appetizers, sandwiches, and burgers round out the menu, featuring Boar's Head premium sandwich meats and Painted Hills all natural grass-fed beef. Our new breakfast menu is sure to satisfy your hunger before you hit the slopes at world-class Squaw Valley Ski Resort.

At the Auld Dubliner, we pour the "perfect pint" in 20-oz. Imperial pint glasses. You won't find a better Guinness on draught! We also feature Harp and Smithwicks on tap, as well as a huge selection of spirits and whiskeys, including Jameson, Bushmill's and Midleton Irish.

The Auld Dubliner Irish Pub is located in the Village at Squaw Valley, at the base of Squaw Valley Ski Resort, and just minutes to beautiful Lake Tahoe. Come and join us!
