We were staying at the Village and made reservations for 6. I wanted to celebrate my daughters 35th birtday. We found the exsperience underwhelming. The food was overpriced, the service was poor. We ordered appetizers and found small portions. one of themm was sushi cones, The were sushi in a ice cream cone. I do not recommend them. for 6... More

This is a review of the bar and bar menu only. We started the evening with a cocktail at the bar, as all of the tables were full. Cocktails were creative, unique and delicious; mine had white port and my husband's had mezcal. We had a little truffle popcorn to start, and I had the burger and my husband had... More

There are two eating areas inside the hotel: the dining room with a much more formal setting, white table clothes and a fine-dining menu, and the cafe/bar area with a fireplace in the middle, couches and smaller bistro tables. We loved the atmosphere in the cafe area - very cozy, perhaps a bit cramped with four people eating around a... More

I chose PlumpJack because of great experiences at the Carneros Inn PlumpJack resort in Napa and to venture to Squaw Valley outside of our of our resort at Northstar. I was very disappointed, especially with the service. When my college aged son hesitated with his entree choice, our waiter impatiently left, instead of making recommendations, and didn't return for over... More

Tuna poke cones were AWFUL. I asked that they leaves out cucumber if possible, told no problem. Seems like they substituted red onion as a filler. Figured that out and took the, out of next two cones but still couldn't taste any of the other ingredients listed in the menu. Caesar salad was pretty bad. Lamb shank was tough and... More

Good spot for a fancy lunch. The food is very good and the atmosphere, both inside and out, is inviting. Service is excellent. Prices are high but one expects that.

Wonderful place for a nice dinner. A bit pricey, but good. Stay away from the mashed potatoes. Otherwise, amazing place.

We didn't have a reservation but were able to get a table in the bar which was OK (kind of in a hallway). Our drinks and food were decent - fresh and tasty.

I was really excited about having dinner in the bar area here. Great location, great ambience and really interesting menu! We had checked it out and had drinks a few nights before and the staff was really friendly as well. Unfortunately, nothing can make up for bad food. My husband's pizza was visibly burnt. I opted for the bibimbap with... More

I went for birthday and early valentine's dinner. The food was wonderful and the service excellent. Not the place for the fast and hungry, but for those who can afford it and wanting great food. The dining room is small and a little noisy, but that is the downside of popularity
