La Fuente's has fantastic wedding taco bar catering service! Yolanda and her crew showed up before the March 19, 2016 wedding to set up the outdoor grill and service tables at the Ojai Women's Center, in Ojai, CA. Her can-do attitude made it all go smoothly. The handmade corn tortillas with three meat options were delicious. The fresh vegetable toppings... More

Great lunch place for authentic Mexican food. Very casual restaurant. The portions are quite large. I had the two tamale combo plate and my wife had the tamale and chili relleno combo plate. We were both pleased with our choices. I had two pork relleno's and my wife had one with chicken. We will definitely return on our next trip... More

I thought I was in a Mexican village when I ordered a fish taco and a sopa with carne asada. I had just been in a resort in Cancun and the food was better at La Fuente! No place has sopas anymore and I've never had a fish taco that was this good!

I come here for the tamales, but all the other things they make look and smell amazing. Small local place, inexpensive and really good homemade salsa's.

Authentic Mexican dishes with variety of options. My favorite is lengua, which was very tender & tasty. The lengua & carnitas taco was delicious. As well as the beef tamale. It's the largest I've eaten so far.

La Fuente is probably the most authentic Mexican food you will find. It always feels like family cooked it for you. This is where I go to get my asada burrito fix. It is a nice little hangout in the evening to grab a bite, and they also do take out. I love that there is usually a soccer game... More

The tamales at this restaurant are among the best I have ever had. The masa is light and airy, and flavorful. The accompanying hot sauces are also superior. The staff are helpful and friendly. I liked the atmosphere is authentic Mexican.

Popular self-serve spot with the locals of Mexican decent. The Green Pork, and the Cheese & Peppers Tamales were tasty even though they were mostly Masa, with scant filling. Chilli Relleno Burrito was good. Decor was austere with mismatched counters that looked like they were picked up at a thrift shop. All of the tables had spilled food on them... More

I love La Fuente. I have almost always had a very good experience here. Once, I ordered some soup at their sister location that was very average. But generally, very good, authentic Mexican cuisine. Love their fish dishes and soft tacos.

During a recent visit to Ojai I became obsessed with La Fuente. Lovely people, varied menu, terrific food, generous portions, gentle prices. If I were a local, I'd be a regular. Tamales are exceptional, and I was thrilled with my first-ever pambazo: a remarkable sandwich overflowing with chorizo, potatoes and other tasty morsels that had to be tackled with a... More
