While some things have changed over the last few decades, El Pollo Loco's delivery of fresh, authentic food has not. Everything starts with whole chickens that are slowly marinated in a special recipe of herbs, spices, fruit juices and garlic. The chicken is then expertly fire-grilled to perfection the authentic way - on our signature open-flame grills - then hand cut into your favorite Mexican entrees. We put that same dedication and care into our handmade guacamole, salsas and dressings every day. We really like El Pollo Loco chicken and get their tostadas quite often. We tried their chicken/avocado enchiladas in flour tortillas (not corn)—Fabulous

I eat at EPL everywhere I go. This particular restaurant has slightly lower prices, the chicken is always cooked nicely, and their cole slaw is tasty. Some of the restaurants don't have much mayo on the slaw, and this one is usually good. I always get a chicken meal, but they have a lot of options.

Their chicken is yummy. Grilled not fried & all ingredients are so fresh! If you're health conscious then you will love this place! Choices of salsa & can get bowls with no carbs. It's a keeper.

It's better than Taco bell but doesn't beat Popeyes or Church's fried chicken.Poor fast food with a Mexican twist
