After living in Northern NewJersey, we are pretty snobby about our pizza. But we were super impressed with the Chicago hand tossed pizza here. Hubby ate his entire pizza but I took 1/2 of mine home as it was filling and delicious when I had...the rest a day later. Ingredients very fresh and seemed like a lot of repeat customers and a big menu of all the traditional Italian dishes. Convenient location at the harbor which is really cute to walk around.More

Out of seven days visiting San Diego, Dominic's was hands down the best! I ordered the bowtie alfredo with chicken and a garden salad and it was fantastic. Great service as well and the location right there on the dock made our anniversary treat memorable!...I got lucky in that I had researched places to eat after booking an Oceanside Adventures whale watching cruise and would never had guessed that I chose a restaurant steps from the dock. Great authentic Italian food! We had the brochette as an appetizer. I believe that Dominic's is probably the best that I have ever had! And I've had me some brochette! I had the spaghetti with meatballs (the best meatballs I've had in a long time!),...my wife & the girls had chicken marsala. We stop here each time we come to Oceanside!!More

I want to think that people can be understood so I will give some credit to the circumstances: 1. The restaurant was short on staff 2. It was almost closing time 3. Everyone was tired However, that does not excuse poor, no terrible service with...no regard for the customer. We arrived to the restaurant and after an excessive waiting they sat us. The waitress made every effort to make us feel unwelcome, the only polite person was the bus boy (he got the tip) who informed us that they were out of bread and offer us a drink as compensation. The place has a great atmosphere, almost like a taberna. The food arrived and I was not disappointed. I had the "Mare E Monte, it was a splendid dish with a very opulent sauce that went to waste since there was no bread. It was a great dish and the whole process ruined the experience. Like I said, maybe all those factors previously mentioned added to the fiasco but "if you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen." We had two Grupon for the restaurant and returned them. Perhaps if you arrive early you may have a better experience, pity. But now I cannot recommend it unless we go back and we won't. I will cite the note I wrote on the bill "Good food and the worst attention ever."More

Will, our waiter was super nice. Food was delicious! Going back tomorrow to try the pizza. Hubby had the calamari with a yummy spicy tomato cream sauce. The meatballs are amazing!!

Great view and Pasta at Oceanside Nice ocean harbor near Camp Pendleton. Plenty to see and several choices to eat. They have great pizza & pasta

I had the sea bass with risotto. The veggies we're great, as they were drowned in butter. The risotto was very salty. The fish itself was a very thin piece with the skin on. My husband had tortellini with salmon and pesto - he enjoyed...it. I had lobster bisque as an appetizer - fabulous! They were out of tiramisu and 2 other desserts. We left my birthday dinner without any dessert. There's no liquor here - wine and beer only. The wine choices are limited. For my handicapped or mobilit-impaired friends: there's only one space that's close. There are others, but you'll have to hoof it. We noticed a few handicapped spaces with young beach people with boards getting into their trucks - no handicapped stickers. We were there on 2-22-21, a Monday - lots of people there. We suggest you find another area in which to dine.More

We got food here to go a few times and we were happy with everything except an order of meatballs that we small and over priced and only a tiny bit of sauce on them even though I asked for lots of red sauce with...them. Everything else was delicious but I do have to say if we did not have a Groupon we probably would not be paying their higher prices, especially for a to go order.More

Prompt service when ordering pizza to-go. Pizza was ok, could have had more taste. Shrimp appetizer was good, spicy.

It's a challenge to rate restaurants these days with the Covid Pandemic. However, we have always had a good meal at Dominic's in Oceanside Harbor. We sat outside and safely physically distanced and since things had just recently opened up the sidewalk was a bit...busy. Our server made everything relaxed and enjoyable and had no problem bringing some of the extra's we wanted, like sauce and dressing. We had the eggplant parmesan, which was excellent and our daughter is always satisfied with the tried and true spaghetti and meatballs. We try to support the local establishments and having lived in San Diego a couple of times, this was one of the semi-regular spots. We were not disappointed on our recent return visit and will head back again for a meal in October.More

Great location at the harbor with outdoor seating. We have been to the restaurant once a month for the past two months and service was always good. My husband and I enjoyed their pizza. We had the Margherita pizza one time and the Vegetarian the...other time. The beer selection is always good. It's got a laid back beach feel next to the water that we like a lot. Great for family lunch. A little pricey but outdoor vibe is great, especially during pandemic.More

Dominic's was a win tonight! Wanted Italian for dinner and found Dominic's!! Delicious! Calamari for appetizer was breaded perfectly, cooked to perfection and served with a dipping sauce that was sooo good. I had the chicken parmesan and was not disappointed. Delicious!! Finished with creme...brulee which is the only dessert I will get!.The owner came over twice to check on us and was such a sweet man. Our server was Brendan who knows the menu well and can answer any questions you may have.More
