Some of the best port tamales and guacamole in the area. Wonderful stop when travelling to San Diego. The bakery is incredible. Highly recommend cheese pockets and pumpkin empanadas. Well worth the calorie splurge. Friendly, attentive staff. Super casual and fun.

The food is Mexican and kinda by the book. Where this place shines, however, is in their extensive bakery with all kinds of delightful pastries. A nice tip: have lunch and then browse their pastries for a great desert.

What a unique place. Homemade Mexican food and bakery items galore. We never would have known about it except for the sign spinner we saw one weekend. Great service great prices. Can't wait to try the chilaquiles!

My son and I stopped here for lunch. He had chilaquiles and I had French toast made with their own cinnamon bread baked in house! Took some Mexican pastries home, too. Good food. Very reasonable prices.
