We were very disappointed in all three meals. The reviews were very positive but our food was Luke warm and not very flavorful. We didn’t finish our meals and took home to heat and eat. I would not recommend this restaurant!

We had ordered take out here during covid, this was our first time dining in. Everyone is very friendly, great service. The dining area is small with very cute Italian decor. Our pizza was delicious, but I will order it well done next time to...get browning on the cheese (our last take out pizza was nice and browned) The entrees coming out of the kitchen looked very good. Authentic Italian food. We had Pizza and chicken marsala cooked in Wine and mushrooms. The owner was our server. Very attentive and we enjoyed speaking Italian with him. Walking distance to pier. The restaurant was clean and decorated like an Italian Villa.

We had a lovely dinner here. The atmosphere was great and the waiters friendly and helpful, mostly from the same family. The food was excellent and good portions, but not cheap. We thought the desserts too expensive so just had the one course, which was...more than enough. EnjoyMore

We were seeing a show nearby, so I found this place online. I called to make reservations, and the lifeless-sounding lady who answered told me they don't take them. It probably should have been an indication not to go. We popped in around 8 p.m.,...and the bar was empty, but the hole-in-the-wall seating was packed. They tucked us away in a claustrophobic, stuffy corner, and we waited. And then continued waiting. We were determined to be patient because it was busy, but eventually, we pulled the server over. He said he'd be right back. He wasn't and at this point, the other diners were winding down and leaving. Eventually, he deigned to bring us water, trying to whirl around to go again before we could register he was there. We said we'd at least like to put in a drink order. Rather than apologize for the wait and inattention, he became brusque, shrugging, telling us that everyone came at the same time. His tone was sour, put off that we had the nerve to be salty. Hmm, perhaps they should take reservations? Food for thought, yes? Well, let me tell you, any food would be better than what they served us. They brought out rolls basted with butter and herbs, which looked great, but I'm still trying to determine if they were actually hockey pucks. Dry, overbaked, and stale, we had a bite or two and gave up. When our pasta dishes arrived, he returned with Parmesan cheese and, without asking, just popped his arm over my shoulder (remember, I was in a tiny corner) and unceremoniously flicked a heaping spoonful in the general direction of my food. However, a quarter of it landed on my dress like greasy spoon confetti. Before he could react, he did the same to my friend, showering her with cheap cheese as well. A dairy communion? Are we blessed with mediocrity now? We hoped the food would make up for the dismal service, but we were oh so wrong. I felt like we were living in the before segments of Restaurant Impossible. My friend's Penne Ala Vodka with scallops had no scallops! She called him over to ask where they were, and he just said they don't make the dish with them anymore. Um? Perhaps the menu could reflect that? Mayhaps he could have mentioned it when she ordered a scallop dish. No apology. He just left again. My shrimp and asparagus fettuccini was akin to Lean Cuisine, which is doing that brand dirty. It was plentiful but tasteless, with pale asparagus and frozen shrimp. I ate perhaps five bites and had enough. The restaurant had no pride in their food, and our server had been so pugnacious that we knew complaining would be a fool's errand. He asked if we wanted boxes, we said no. Still, he dropped off boxes. When he saw that we didn't take the food to go, he came over and started boxing it for us. We said we weren't interested, and he was confused. At this point, the place was empty. His demeanor improved when he dropped the check, I suppose hoping a spoonful of sugar would help the lousy food and service go down and would reflect on his tip. Well, here's a tip: if you see this place, keep walking. I will never return. Obviously, I can make boxed fettuccini and imaginary scallops at home. Hard tack dressed as rolls just in time for Halloween. Don't let the pretty wrapping fool you, it tasted like drywall.More

The food was pretty good, although a bit overpriced. My salmon and shrimp dish had only 2 pieces of shrimp, but the rest of the portions were good. We ate there on a late Sunday afternoon and it wasn't very crowded but the service was...definitely lacking. The management/wait staff made my family feel uncomfortable to be there and I noticed they didn't behave the same way with other patrons. I still left a fair tip, even though I felt it wasn't warranted. I highly doubt I'd go back there, which is unfortunate because I was hoping to find a local Italian place for future outings.More

Went in for pizza, pepperoni, sausage, mushroom. We were met with a warm greeting, Buongiorno! From the owner. The pizza was perfect and so was the service. We loved the little place.

We came in like a hurricane all 14, wait, 16, oh, 18 of us into this little mom and pop restaurant! I had called last minute and begged for a table while the man on the other line told me “ signoras, we are very...busy, you must come now”. So we hustled the 16 year olds into the shower and all dashed so we could have a good meal! We arrived, our table for 14 (which is what we started with) was ready to go! Soon enough we became 16, two more chairs added, no prob! And then…18, sorry!! But 2 more chairs and we were good to go!!! The server who spoke in the perfect Italian accent told us what he would bring us “galamad (calamari) and garlic knots, red wine, white wine” it was exactly what we needed. Everyone ordered a full plate of pasta, pizza or chicken dish, portions big enough to fill up even our hungry HS lax boys. The food was great, the ambiance was perfect and the service was top notch! Thanks for taking us in, accommodating us and feeding our hungry bellies with yummy Italian food!!!More

What a great find! This seems to be a hidden gem that locals eat at often. We stumbled upon it when looking downtown and not finding anything reasonably priced for a family dinner. We walked in and felt like we were in Italy again from...the friendly staff many with Italian accents to the decor. The pasta was amazing and the sauces delicate and flavorful. And I loved that they haven’t gone the way of other California restaurants who are adding a 2-6% fee onto the bill, explaining it as a “kitchen adjustment” or “inflation charge” or some other nonsense. The high end places did this regularly out there even though their prices were already well above average. But this wonderful homey place where we had authentic Italian food had reasonable prices and no extra fee.More
