Full of flavor! Best Italian I’ve had. Chicken Marsala was delicious. Pasta was fresh and expertly prepared. No fast food, no microwave, just great food you will definitely enjoy

My brother, his wife and I had a wonderful time and enjoyed our meals and wine. We made plans to return and enjoy this very tasty place.

We came in like a hurricane all 14, wait, 16, oh, 18 of us into this little mom and pop restaurant! I had called last minute and begged for a table while the man on the other line told me “ signoras, we are very...busy, you must come now”. So we hustled the 16 year olds into the shower and all dashed so we could have a good meal! We arrived, our table for 14 (which is what we started with) was ready to go! Soon enough we became 16, two more chairs added, no prob! And then…18, sorry!! But 2 more chairs and we were good to go!!! The server who spoke in the perfect Italian accent told us what he would bring us “galamad (calamari) and garlic knots, red wine, white wine” it was exactly what we needed. Everyone ordered a full plate of pasta, pizza or chicken dish, portions big enough to fill up even our hungry HS lax boys. The food was great, the ambiance was perfect and the service was top notch! Thanks for taking us in, accommodating us and feeding our hungry bellies with yummy Italian food!!!More

We visited for lunch on a Sunday and found a pleasant atmosphere and good food. The outside does not look very prosperous, but the interior is comfortable and the waiter very friendly. What a great find! This seems to be a hidden gem that locals eat at often. We stumbled upon it when looking downtown and not finding anything reasonably priced for a family dinner. We walked in and felt like we were in Italy again from...the friendly staff many with Italian accents to the decor. The pasta was amazing and the sauces delicate and flavorful. And I loved that they haven’t gone the way of other California restaurants who are adding a 2-6% fee onto the bill, explaining it as a “kitchen adjustment” or “inflation charge” or some other nonsense. The high end places did this regularly out there even though their prices were already well above average. But this wonderful homey place where we had authentic Italian food had reasonable prices and no extra fee.More

At first glance, this is not a place you want to go to. Its tiny, its dark, and it has no AC. However! This is a place you want to visit. Its a small local business, and its great. We went for a family dinner...and enjoyed it quite a bit. We were served by Pino, who is the owner and he was very nice. Dinner was quite tasty, but I would not recommend the chicken parm. I had the seafood linguini and loved it.More

We stopped to eat in Oceanside along our drive from LA to San Diego. Venetos Cucina was perfect. Our waiter was super friendly. The food came very quickly and was delicious. I’d definitely return!

Happiness found! We Vistans were so sad at the loss of our wonderful Marcos Restaurant but we have found Veneto’s to be as good or better. Tonight we ate delicious food in a quaint atmosphere with great wine and terrific service.

It was about a block and half from my hotel and a little walk but i made it walker and all. On a budget i had the Lasagna and it was the best Ive ever had. Really, so I assume the rest of menu the...same. I was surprised at the menu pricing and the waitress was so nice. Being alone about 7 pm I took it to my room as it does have some odd folks around but no one bothered this 76 year old woman, everyone was very nice. I was amazed at this place, small and cozy. This place was a gem of a find. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the ambiance-kind of traditional European vibe, music not too loud. We had a Bruschetta appetizer. Our waiter was attentive and pleasant. I had lasagna and was quite satisfied....My wife had a salmon and shrimp dish and was very pleased. For dessert we shared a lava chocolate dish, with coffee, that took the whole experience to the next level! We would eagerly eat there again the next time we pass through Oceanside.More
