Second location, now in Vista. Have been going to this great, little place since they opened in 2011. Rustic, casual interior, down home friendliness and fabulous food. Start with some shrimp toast, cheesy grits and bacon or delish octopus salad then move on to the all natural duroc pork chop, a fresh homemade pasta or Cornish game hen. Menu varies... More

Stopped by here on recommendation of a colleague. Had a ribeye, asparagus and potatoes. Food was delicious, only wish I had more than 4 asparagus and less than 5 lbs of potatoes. Other than that, really nothing to complain about. The price is a little steep ($36 for a 10 oz ribeye and $7 for a beer) but it tasted... More

Excellent food and excellent courteous fast service. Whole family enjoyed their meals. I had the pork chop and it was Delicious! Very moist and juicy, thick and very favor full. Served on a creamed corn and bacon sauce; again scrumptious.

Ok so I was leary due to the mixed reviews but read so many I realized I did want something different. We were travelling through to San Diego and wanted tasty food and we got it. The duck was amazing! The service was super attentive. Yes it was noisy but we decided to be okay with that. And it ended... More

Had dinner there last night w/ my wife and a few friends. My first time. Place is really off the beaten path. Looked like a biker bar. Place is "old looking" without trying. 7 of us were seated in the back. Place was busy for a Sat. night. Cool thing, our menus were old "record album covers". Right off the... More

Food, service and ambience were all delightful. Our waiter assured special accommodations were available for gluten-free requirements and was very helpful in guiding my decisions. The food was fresh, tasty, and attractively presented. We will definitely return and share the experience with friends and family.

Really good comfort food with a definate southern feel. The barbequed pork is out of this world! Very good drink menu too.

Service was excellent, food was delicious and wine was great! It's the perfect half way point for my Orange County/San Diego friends!
