Stopped in for a late lunch. Lots of choices on the menu. I decided on the Crab and Shrimp Louie salad. The salad was delicious. The greens were fresh and tasty. The shrimp and crab were very flavorful. The dressing (thousand island) is made in-house...and it was perfect. Not too heavy or chunky. The garlic bread (complimentary) was light and tasty. Not overwhelmed with garlic. I also enjoyed a slice of carrot cake. Also made in-house,it was excellent! I will definitely plan on returning on my next tripMore

My family enjoyed everything that we had for lunch. My wife had the fish and chips, which is unique due to the fresh caught halibut and panko crust. This was recommended by our waiter and did not disappoint. The highlight of the meal was the...Cioppino. This fish stew was light and flavorful. After I ordered it I was told by many of the staff that it is all of their favorite dishes. The restaurant manager also stopped by to "touch" our table and that was a pleasant surprise. This doesn't happen as much as it used to.More

To their benefit I got there 20 min. to closing. I got right in. Service was slow but ok. Oysters were very good but on the small side-pacific oysters. I got the steamed entree with shrimp, clams, mussels and crab. Came out very hot but...not hot enough to heat the snow crab cluster all the way. Must have been frozen. Tasty but only 1 piece of garlic taost. Closing time.More

Amazing!! The lobster bisque and clam chowder come in a beautiful, fresh, sourdough bread bowl. Sooo tasty! Perfectly cooked, large scallops with a tempura-style dipping sauce. White wine mussels were delicious. Pastas we delicious too!

Had New England clam chowder. Not much clam in it and the chowder tasted like it had flour as a thickener. Also had panko crusted fish sandwich and sweet potato fries. Sandwich good, but fries mediocre.

Whenever Cioppino is on the menu, it's a risk. Half the time it is boring and occasionally it is great. The Lighthouse was my favorite Cioppino yet. Loaded with seafood in a spicy red Italian sauce, I could have eaten another round. Great restaurant if...you find yourself by the marina.More

This is good restaurant in a beautiful area on the water. The staff was wonderful! We started with delicious tacos and drinks. After that we had the lobster bisque so yummy! Then for dinner I had Luis' special and my husband had fish and chips....I would eat the special dish again if I ever visited CA again. For dessert we had carrot cake and a chocolate martini. Such a nice ending b4 our uber came to get us.More

Very close to where we stayed at North Harbor Village condos. We just walked over the bridge and down the street. The view of the harbor when dining upstairs is very pretty. The lobster bisque was good but was hoping for a few bits of...lobster in this orangey concoction. The halibut was very good and my companions liked their steak.More

Halibut sandwich and fish and chips were ample and pretty good. Place was packed, but we were seated immediately and service was outstanding at all times. Inflated drink and wine prices beyond what is normally acceptable even in a tourist area. Food prices were fine....Plenty of free parking.More

The view was great, the service was okay, but the food was atrocious. Worst seafood I've ever eaten, hopefully we don't get sick. We ordered peel and eat shrimp, calamari, shrimp tacos, a calamari taco and their Luis "especial" seafood pasta dish. The peel and...eat shrimp wasn't deveined, I can handle the vein on the bottom of the shrimp but not the excrement on the top. We literally had FECES in our food. That should have been our cue to get up and walk out of there without taking a bite and I wish we had. The waiters and staff watched me take a knife and cut open the shrimp and remove all the poop myself. Next up was the calamari which was pretty bad but I guess they breaded it nicely and it wasn't too chewy. You can get better calamari in the frozen food section of any grocery store. That's mostly likely where they got it from. Then came our four shrimp tacos and one calamari taco. It was Taco Tuesday and they were $4 a piece during happy hour. They had tiny little salad shrimp in there but at least they were deveined. I suppose because the frozen bag they likely came from had already done that work for them. The calamari taco had four strips of the same calamari as the appetizer with shredded cabbage. The tacos were by far the best thing we were served. Last and definitely least was Luis's especial seafood pasta. I was excited about this dish when I ordered it because I typically love seafood pasta. However the crab tasted old, the scallops were skanky, the shrimp was okay, mushrooms were forgettable, the pasta tasted like it came straight from the grocery store aisle and the sauce I believe was Classico tomato and basil pasta sauce. They melted a bunch of jack cheese in there which just made it a mess. I was hoping it was going to be freshly shredded on top of my dish but I don't think anything at this restaurant is fresh. Even though everything we purchased was on the happy hour menu, my bill still came out to $74.86. Even though I was disgusted by the meal, I managed to hold it down and hold my tongue. Then the waiter Eddie, who was actually was decent waiter brought me back my change and it was $10 short. That was it for me, I told him he shorted me 10 bucks, he looked at me with confusion and we simply got up and walked out. I suppose Eddie and all the waiters and waitresses know that the food so horrible you better just take your tip out of the customer's money if you expect to get anything. The hostess asked us how the meal was on the way out and I said it was terrible, the worst seafood I've ever had, we could have got better at Olive garden or Long John silver's. As we were getting in the car I overheard the manager "86ing"an elderly woman from the bar for drinking too much, I assume. However the manager was the one that was yelling, making a scene, acting childish as he yelled over and over "BYE BYE". I suppose she was lucky for being thrown out of there, I wish they had "86ed"us too. Now we're just crossing our fingers so we don't get sick in the next 24 hours.More

We were looking for a nice seafood place where we could celebrate Father's Day, and we eventually settled on Lighthouse Oyster Bar & Grill. Parking was a little challenging, but that was to be expected for a place near the ocean, and we did eventually...find a place to park. Our visit perked up considerably with our waitress, who was incredibly friendly and helpful, and who make a number of recommendations which proved valuable. I found her drink recommendations especially valuable, as their wine cocktails proved quite good. And the dinner itself was . . . fine, I suppose. As I wasn't especially hungry I had their siete mares, which was enjoyable but a little work. I also sampled their lobster bisque, which was okay but not as good as a lobster bisque should be. Our party ordered a variety of other seafood and pasta dishes, but while all of them were enjoyable none of them stood out as especially memorable. We ended up not sticking around for dessert, in part because a couple of us were worried that they would prove to be as underwhelming as were the main courses. I would certainly eat there again, but it certainly wouldn't be my first choice for seafood in an area filled with options, nor would it be my second.More
