Amazing and fresh Californian style food and definitely worth waiting in a long line. We ordered Ribeye recommended by our friends and it is YUMMY. The steak with fabulous cut was grilled to order perfectly. Staff was very helpful all the time. Wood Tavern is...More

Lovely lunch. Not too much for vegetarians or the gluten free, but fine. It's a noisy, crowded space and while the food is several notches above many places, there are also plenty of not-as-hyped just-as-delicious places in the East Bay.

Small, focused menu with something for your every mood and they knock each item out of the park. Trust me, it's hard to do what they do at Wood Tavern — unfussy food that feels inherently comfy but is also way better than you (or...More

If they're a casual couple this is a good choice. $150 will suffice and would include wine for two.
