Charles approached our table with a huge smile. A wonderful wine by the glass list for lunch. I had to order the seafood salad staring at the water below us. My friend ordered the halibut and it was perfection. Service was fabulous with warm sour...dough bread. You must ask for Charles.More

This is an amazing restaurant. A little pricey but well worth it. Service was great and the view is amazing.

Seafood cioppino was excellent. you definitely want to order it with the crab already removed from the crab shells. This made it much easier to eat, and it allowed to crab meat to offer a little bit of flavor to the broth. House salad was...ridiculous. It should have been complimentary. It is essentially a garnish. a few little pieces of lettuce, two slices of cucumber, and a few slices of tomato. It looked like something you'd see on the side with a hamburger order. Service met expectations, but the staff seemed a bit frantic and disorganized. I like to see and enthused, fast paced operation. But it looked as though everyone was nervously rushing between crises. This would have been a solid four star review if the $17 garnish they called a house salad was "Scott" free.More

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch at a table by a window. At the end of the meal we mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary. We were then surprised with a special lighted dessert and a long-stemmed red rose in a box...tied with a red ribbon. The staff took our photo and presented it to us in a cardboard frame. We really appreciated what they did to make the day feel special for us. the whole experience of dining at Scott's Seafood was very pleasant.More

June 26, 2021 - SO DISAPPOINTED!!! I have always enjoyed Scott's over the years. It is a no-fail go to when you want white-linen service and great food. Ordered appetizers (Calamari & Spicy Shrimp) and cocktails to start. Then order 2 Blackened Catfish and 1...Salmon entrees. The Calamari was lightly fried, sitting a plate of something wet. Not an aioli (they didn't have any) or lemon juice making the light crunch to "no crunch" and quite chewy. The shrimp was literally sitting in a puddle of read grease! We sent the Calamari back and asked for another plate of shrimp without the grease, please. When the Blackened Catfish arrived. You could smell the burntness as the plates were being placed on the table. There was no trace of Blacken seasonings but simply the char smell of burnt food. I attempted to take a bite by passing what I was smelling but was not successful. So, I nibbled at the plain mashed potato's. I soon picked up the perfectly cut carrots and long string beans only to find out that they were blanched and not cooked! WOW1!! For the price point at this restaurant, I expected at lease a drink that would arrive at the table as I ordered but not even that occurred. I asked for a Margarita with little ice. I received a glass filled with ice 2 times (had to scoop out the over served ice myself and leave on the bread plate both times) rimmed with "table salt!" Are you kidding me. My guest I could not get over how horrible the food was from start to finish. I reminded my guest that businesses were simple not able to bring back quality employees due to COVID and this restaurant must be going through the same and used a rookie sou chef or dishwasher as chef this day. I know as a teacher how hard it has been these past 18 months with school closed so I empathized with the restaurant. The meal total was $207 with my tip cost$270. However, I will NEVER EAT AT SCOTT'S AGAIN!More

We are staying at the Hyatt Waterfront Hotel, fifth floor and can see Scott's Seafood clearly from our balcony. We arrived from No.Nevada wanted seafood. I read a not so pleasant review on Yelp posted the same day of our arrival and almost didn't go...based on what the reviewer, Alan M. wrote. So happy I ignored his comments as I couldn't disagree more! (See my full review on Yelp) First of all, I consider myself a foodie. Husband & I are in our mid-sixties, well traveled and I have a developed sense of smell and taste. I don't use a lot of salt to enhance the flavors of food, fresh food shouldn't need much salt! Second, I do not think Scott's is over priced for the quality of food, service, ambiance and waterfront views/breeze. The fresh breeze enhances the palate which enhances the dining experience (in my humble opinion). We left with leftovers and asked what time the piano player would arrive. Management wrote on the back of his card a "complimentary drink" for the two of us when return tonight. How cool is this? This is five stars all around and I thank this establishment. Edit: went back to cash in on the drinks and listen to the piano man. Tuesday night and David Eric(k?) Tillman was rocking, no, blazing the keyboards. What a talent!!!! And he could sing when the mood hit! In the ‘70’s he got a gig with the Temptations and that’s what brought him to California. He uses no sheet music. Plays from the soul and roveberberartes the room. What an experience.More

This place has such a beautiful location. Before the shutdown, they had a wonderful seafood buffet. They have recently reopened and for 30 days offered 50% off of all food ordered. What a generous deal as they lost all of their business (both banquet and...restaurant) and shut Walnut Creek location. We visited twice during this time and both times had a great experience adoring the beautiful view and had great service. The first time we visited, there was this overwhelmingly loud and boisterous party in the back of the restaurant which made for a less than pleasant experience until they finally left. Since the banquet rooms were empty, they probably should have seated them in one of the rooms. They were great with COVID restrictions and seating was nicely spaced. They give you this wonderful bread to start with so we ordered a bottle of wine and enjoyed while choosing our meals. We had the bowl of chowder ($16) and heart of romaine salad ($17) to start with. Chowder was excellent and the salad although fresh and nicely presented was pricey for what you were served. We had the Halibut Cheeks ($37) which were surprisingly tough but the flavor was still very good. Also had the Sole Dore with mashed potatoes and spinach ($36) - portion was huge and took a lot of it home - delicious dish. In addition we had the Steak and Lobster with mashed potatoes and vegetables ($68). The steak had this tasty sauce and the lobster was cooked perfectly. At 50% off of all food items, this was a deal. We have always enjoyed this location of Scotts and especially during the holidays it is decorated so festive and beautiful. The servers are friendly and very attentive and the piano music in the bar is always a treat.More

When we were long distance dating, Scott's was a favorite stop after my finance picked me up at Oakland airport. After two years living in San Diego, we returned for a visit. Scott's didn't disappoint. Even with al the social distancing, we had a romantic...visit and a great dinner. The petrale sole was excellent.More
