I came in for takeout and they were just so pleasant. I seated myself at an empty table and they brought me a pot of tea and Chinese teacup! When have I last had this?

My family had dinner at the Flower Lounge during our vacation. The food is delicious and there are many choices. The portions are large and one item can be split for two people. When we visit Oakland again we will definitely return to Flower Lounge.
This is not a fancy restaurant however, both the service and food are excellent. The simplicity of this restaurant reminds me of the 1950´s with personal service by two Chinese women complete with accents. The food is always well prepared and tasty. There is always...More

I ordered take out of sizzling rice soup, seafood with eggplant in garlic sauce clay pot, salt and pepper squid, and Hong Kong style chow mein. All were good, hot and tasty. I will have to try eating there next time.
