Easy to reach using BART, this place has a lot of energy. The selection of small plates (tapas or pinxtos, they are closer to the latter) is excellent. We tried several and never made it to the paellas. The drinks were very good too. Also has a nice wine list with some excellent reds. Service is great but sometimes a... More

We were not in a rush and the service was very accommodating. The tapas menu was so interesting we didn't venture to the larger plates or the paella. The cabbage salad was delicious and the quesadillas were very tasty. The atmosphere was very cool. It's so close to BART and the food was very good, we will be back.

Went here for father's day and had a very nice lunch. The bloody mary's were quite good as were the Bunuelos (Yumm!). Everyone enjoyed their eggs. Our only criticism of the meal was that the poached eggs came on a biscuit which alone would have been good but it crumbled and so was impossible to use to mop up the... More

Very fun and easy way to share dishes on a sunny day day. Attentive staff, great appetizers, especially the pork belly and walnut toast lemon curd! Yummy and flavorful. Let's try dinner next time!

Food,Service and wine selections was a pleasant change from other Spanish restaurants! Cocktail selections are quite interesting, Server was on her game and answered our questions with no hesitations. Nice wine selections were fun and the regions were list quite clearly on the wine list. As for the ambience, just do this, you won't ne disappointed. Our business partners recommended,... More

Friends had recommended Duende so we made a reservation for a Friday night dinner and they didn't disappoint. We started with the tapas and this included the pork skewer, fried rabbit, halibut cheek, rockfish, and several others and everyone of them was very good. For the main course, we decided to try a pasta-based paella instead of rice and it... More

Spanish restaurant serving tapas, paella and other Spanish style food. Tapas are great, all the food is served family style so be prepared to share, and the paellas are for 2 or 4 people. Lots of unusual dishes and wines, don't be afraid to ask for help, the servers are friendly and knowledgeable. It is pretty dark inside and warm!... More

I try to find something good to say about places and the best I can say is that the location is good. We were a group of 7 and tried to simplify our order by telling the wait person that we wanted 3 paellas and said one was for each of 2 people. One couple ordered a tapa in addition... More

Rocky start but staff's attention to detail compensated. Paella can have a variety of ingredients but the one common to all variations is Bomba Rice. The Paella we ordered came with noodles and I just had to turn it back. The staff quickly provided a rice based serving. I also asked to see the bottle of the wine we ordered... More
