This small restaurant in Rockridge serves up really outstanding food. Friendly and attentive service with a well-informed waiter who guided us flawlessly through the best menu items, especially the impeccable seafood stew, mussels, calamari, and chocolate soufflé. Definitely call ahead for a reservation because the restaurant was very busy when we were there.

Went as group of 9. Prince Edward Island mussels in Pernod-shallot butter broth was outstanding: fresh, tender, sweet, and flavorful, and the creamy broth tempted everyone to sop it up with bread. The chopped calamari was also superb; the baby calamari were tender and a little crunchy from the panko bread crumbs, and the accent of ginger, scallion, and jalapeno... More

We really enjoyed our dinner in this cozy little nook. We had made a reservation and were glad we did; the place was very full the entire time we were there. Our server was attentive and helpful - love that the menu here changes daily. We started with the calamari and it was some of the best we have ever... More

This place is a hidden gem. Not much room inside, but the food is outstanding!! We had the scallops, steak, and lobster. All were incredible! We also were given some mussels for our first visit and they were phenomenal! We tried one of every dessert and you can't go wrong! Staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was great. Not... We had a reservation for 3 people and the table that they gave us was perfect. We have been to this restaurant a few times, the service was good as before but now they have too many people walking around doing nothing. The signature drinks were perfect, we had oysters, mussels and calamari for appetizers and were very good, then for entrees we... More

Where is it written that restaurants have to be loud? This one is small, with hard surface walls (brick) and flours (cement) and the noise level becomes such that you have to shout to be heard across the table. The restaurant is obviously very popular - don't even think about coming on a weekend night without a reservation - but... More

Unpretentious little gem restaurant with very good service. All their appetizers and entries are excellent, so much attention to detail. The place is usually tightly packed and tables are fairly closed to each other. Walk-ins possible but you may end up waiting a bit, the place is very popular.

This is an outstanding little restaurant. We brought a bottle wine with us. Two of us enjoyed the seafood stew. One had the mussel appetizer and I had a salad. The other party had salmon. The presentation was wonderful and the taste excellent. The varieties of fish in the stew were cooked to perfection and the broth was memorable. Worthy... More

Summary based on one dinner: --host seated us promptly for our reservation although the original table wasn't yet available --loud enough that we had some issues getting our order understood. All worked out fine, though. --very good starters and mains --ok prices for the area and quality --good service --challenging street parking
