Only went here for breakfast so cannot tell you about the dinner but tye menu looks good. We had coffee and their fantastic Commmunity wheat bread with differnt topping. We had ricotta with lemon and honey which was perfect. Also Strawberry jam and almond butter. They use Mr. Coffee for their coffee. Ordered an expresso with steamed milk on the... More

Varied menu, friendly, polished staff. All in our party enjoyed the food and atmosphere, second floor dining. A bit pricey.

We live in this neighborhood and the downstairs cafe is the long term favorite for small intimate coffee and breakfast, Fresh light lunch and now dinners! A rockridge mainstay yet still one of the few places with more ambiance than noise - more service than splash - elegant casual and always a pleasure to eat most anything they offer... Which... More

We are in the first floor bar. Atmosphere was very pleasant and comfy. The rockfish was ok, but the chicken my friend had was amazing and the desert menu is very extensive.

Enjoyed this cafe next to a terrific produce market. I had a anchovy ,oregano pizza which was made to perfection. The cheese was the perfectly cooked. We also had a nice glass of wine to compliment the meal. My friend had lentil soup with a cod sandwich which he really enjoyed. Vey casual place to relax.

We had dinner at the street-level cafe. Pizza was very good but the least expensive wine was $9 per glass! We split a delicious beet salad, had two reasonably- priced entrees and no dessert. Bill was $106 with 20% tip (service was excellent.) 2 least-expensive glasses of wine and 1 beer was nearly $35 (tip included.) Too much.

Had lunch here and experienced lackadaisical service and lackluster food. My pork panini looked lonely on a white plate - no lettuce or pickle or fries. But worse, there was cartilage and bone bits in the pork. Don't waste your money here, especially when there are so many other choices just steps away.

I've been here in the past but went recently after several years absence for a birthday dinner and the meal was really excellent. I judge a restaurant to be "great" when every morsel of every bite of food is satisfying and that turned out to be the case with Oliveto. The portions are indeed small as another reviewer points out,... More

Pizzas a special. Nice sharing plates for a nice meal after shopping without formalities. It keeps up with the upstairs stellar restaurant, but more bistro style.

The appetizers, especially, were really small. Especially given the price. One entree (pigeon) was substantial, but the other one (black cod) was very small. With tax and tip, we paid $200 (for two appetizers, two entrees, 2 glasses of wine, a cocktail, and a dessert). And both of us were still hungry at the end of the meal. To me,... More
