Love joes expertise at the bar on wine, love the ragu, love the small cost restaurant and always know we walk out happy.

We watched the chef bring his ingredients from the pantry and put them on the stove to cook our meals to order. Fresh vegetable soup, nothing but the tastes of the assortment of veggies plus a little parmesan. And then fresh pasta with a fresh sauce. Everything was perfect and affordable. Note that the wine prices are a bit high,... More

They make their own pasta, and while a small menu---it's always hard to choose, because everything can work. It's authentic Italian, the service is great, and atmosphere that works well.

You don't need to wait in line for a seat at A Cote....the food at Enoteca Molinari right next door is better, and the intimate dining experience and excellent service are a wonderful accent to the homey and delicious Italian fare on offer. Don't forget to save room for the panna cotta - it is borderline miraculous.

Excellent italian food and wine in intimate setting. Say hello to Joe at this Rockbridge secret. Go there whenever I can.

My husband and I came here for our anniversary. The atmosphere was warm and modern with simple elegance. It was an absolutely beautiful experience. Our waiter was extremely helpful in helping us choose a wine and meal pairing. There were vegetarian options for me as well. The seating is limited, so reservations are probably a good idea, although we were... More

My wife and I went for dinner midweek. We were fortunate to get seated. The restaurant currently has a very limited number of seats, and if you are thinking about a large group (6 or more), then think again. It probably won’t happen right now. Reservations are strongly advised. The menu has multiple antipasti options, soup and salad alternatives, and... More

Our family celebrated a special birthday dinner last night at Enoteca. I thought I had been transported to Italy for the night. The food was amazing and authentic and the service was excellent . We will be back, thank you Molinari families for a fun evening!

Meaning, I dine here often and that says something. Intimate (meaning small) resto, but also intimate (meaning warm) resto with a competent cuisine (meaning kitchen), interesting menu, delightful cellar, and good action (meaning the chef doing his thing before your very eyes) . The price point lies between mid-range and fine dining.

Very small restaurant on the main drag in Rockridge - absolutely worth a visit. Given the size, reservations highly recommended. Really nice menu - very authentic Italian including wines and dessert. Service really good. Lot of Italian restaurants in the neighborhood - lots of them really good - all very different. Molinari is a small spot that is very casual,... More
