The blue building is unassuming but don’t let that fool you. This place is so delicious. The kimchi is fresh, and they are known for their beef bone broth! Korean friends of mine says the noodle soup is indeed authentic and tasty. It’s a chill...spot and mostly Korean customers frequent this joint. It’s the real deal!More

Really good bone soup with deep flavor. Nice place to get some home cooking Korean food. Quite popular place and close to BART station.

Two of us were looking for a late night dinner option and discovered Seoul Gam Tang open until 11! Authentic and tasty, it is a great option if you are nearby!

Seoul Gam Tang serves great Korean food in a former fast food restaurant located on Telegraph in Oakland. It is one of the few restaurants that serve gam ja tang (spicy pork bone and potato stew) in the area.

The outside does not look very welcoming, but upon entering, the inside is welcoming. You will notice the menu on the wall and photos of all the dishes on almost all the walls. The servers are Korean and speak limited English so the photos help...you to order. This restaurant is frequented by Koreans so you know the dishes are authentic Korean. It is best to go with someone who really knows there Korean food. Service was quick and the food hot and delicious.More

This unassuming place with only KOREAN LETTERING on the outside looks like some kind of bazaar not a restaurant. A friend lives across the street , has been there for a year and never went in. He loves to go some other place do not...want to remember the name I hated the food. So I said look lets go in here it's across the street. We went in. Full of KOREANS..the waitress even spoke to me in KOREAN. The atmosphere is otherwordly. You feel like you have stepped outside of the USA. THE FOOD was great not one complaint. It was fast hot / spicy and the SOJU was flowing. I definitely recommend it. Their specialty is the BONE SOUP but everything else on the menu is solid.More

From the outside, I normally wouldn't go in but I'm glad I did. It's traditional Korean food I don't know that much about. Food was delicious and I even went back the next day.

I've been here with my korean friends and i had a good lunch. I liked the fish soup with octopus most, but the soup with the pork was good too.
