We ordered a variety of very different omelets and scrambles and could not have been more pleased. We look forward to eating there when we are in Oakland again.

We went for a quick meal, with friends. The service was very good. The place itself not fancy but interesting. I loved the Barbie dolls displayed on the wall. We all had something different to eat. All of us very satisfied. I had the daily special but found the portion size too large so took some home for the dogs. I'm... More
Came here to meet up with a friend. Had never been before so was eager to see what it was about. It's got a 50s diner feel and serves fairly standard diner fare. My friend's burger and fries were okay, nothing superlative. I fared better with my grilled chicken sandwich, it was juicy and delicious and came with crunchy fresh... More
Very unique atmosphere, lots of odd interesting things in the décor. The tables are like eye-spy, they have all kinds of things, each table is a different thing. Ours was like a race track all match box cars in dirt with little funny things all over the side, then it has a thick layer of clear plastic over, so it's... More
Not super fancy and really just a cool place to eat for both vegan and non vegan. We went hear because we heard a rumor that one of the band members from Green Fay owns it. And kept coming back for the food and good beer. Love the tables with the cars in the table tops. The Chericio is my... More
Entering this little diner one does not know what to expect as it is part of the renewal of downtown. Inside is the décor of a diner within a diner. Seating was immediate and service was swift. The menu included sandwiches, salads, entrees as well as breakfast all day. I love cafes that do this. The food was served quickly... More
Very Solid diner food choice with an extensive menu with a great many veggie and non meat items. Located right next door to the Fox Theatre its a great choice for a bite before or after an event. But keep in mind that if there is an event and you did not realize it that it can be very crowded... More
RUDY'S right by the Fox Theatre is a good choice for good standard fashioned food in a quirky nice atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive....the food is decent....and it's a good choice before or after a show at the Fox Theatre
I call in my food and everything is prepared in a timely manner. The food is exceptional. I recommend the breakfast burritos and buffalo chicken sandwich.
