I was very disappointed by the food here. Every dish was beautiful to behold, but most lacked in flavor. The elaborate descriptions were more impressive than the combined ingredients presented. At times we were at a total loss to discover the described ingredients anywhere in...More

I was surprised to read some of the mixed bag reviews prior to my visit and wondered if the Michelin rating did indeed get something wrong, so I went curiosity and suspicion. My evening was wonderful. The decor and atmosphere of this well laid-out intimate...More

Magical night in terms of variety and quality of dishes and service. Now one of my favorite top-tier restaurants in the Bay Area. And their impressive Japanese whisky selection was an incredible bonus!

This is one of the best restaurants, if not the best restaurant in Oakland. The food is unique in presentation as well as deliciousness. The service is outstanding and the wine list is extraordinary. I highly recommend this restaurant for an unforgettable dining experience.

A real dining “experience”.... each of the eight courses artfully presented and delicious. Service and spacing was great. Faves were the roasted pigeon with mountain huckleberries, the sea bream and the creamed potato with ‘reserve white sturgeon caviar’. Delish!

Eat here the other night, it's excellent. I'm not going to get into a super detailed review here, because it's not needed. This is a 2 star Michelin restaurant, and that's exactly what you get. (actually maybe the only 2 star in the East Bay,...More
