We were surprised by how many places were available both inside and outside. Outside gives you a nice view of the marina. Food, as noted by others, was very good; although served a bit too quickly. We hadn't even finished our soup when the main...dish was presented, and while the place wasn't all that busy we got the sense that the staff didn't want us to wait around very long. Service was generally good, although not overly cordial but efficient. We used a gift card and the server didn't really know what to do with it and we left uncertain if we had paid enough or too little.More

10 out of 10! This was an amazing find! Not only was the presentation beautiful but the food and cocktails were outrageously good! We had great service, our server was very nice and gave us good recommendations. The atmosphere was great and the restaurant was...just so cute. Really nice decor, and I would definitely book for an event in the future. We started with appetizers: Neua Num Tok Rolls (wagu beef), Vegan Fresh Rolls and and “ahi scoops”. Everything was fantastic. Then we shared chicken green curry and LOBSTER PAD THAI. First of all the pad Thai was incredible without the lobster but with the lobster, Wow. We ended with the Thai Vacation dessert I think? And it was coconut ice cream with sticky blue rice pudding and fresh coconut on top. It was also super delicious. Not to forget our cocktails. I had the alcoholic Thai Tea which was served in a really cute pineapple cup. Again, really cute and fun presentation followed by great tasting food/drinks. I highly recommend the Farmhouse Kitchen. Great Tai food, fun atmosphere, spectacular drinks. I didn't realize this is a chain yet the food is really good, the staff very helpful and friendly their cocktails are fantastic and deserts are unique and wonderful. Located on the water even in offseason it was...busy. The only drawback, it is really expensive.More

Went to the Farmhouse Kitchen last night for dinner with a friend. Loved it! Modern Thai restaurant with beautiful and colorful decor. Delicious food! Awesome service and great staff. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are a foodie and enjoy Thai food. Would definitely go...back again. We ordered Papaya Salad and Ahi Scoops for our appetizers. Our main course was a fried chicken dish served with blue rice and yellow curry and flaky Roti. All the dishes were absolutely delicious. 🤗More

The atmosphere was nice and everyone I came in contact with were friendly and helpful. Not a bland place at all and each dish has it's own twist to it. Spring rolls were great and the Pad Thai was awesome. Caution...they are good size serving...so be ready to share.More

This restaurant is so vibrant with flowers and Thai decor. The service is excellent and the food is served family style. Our favorite was the lobster pad Thai, but all the dishes we shared were prepared and presented well. So flavorful all the spices and...some with heat... we loved it!!!!More

We went to Farmhouse Thai the first time with some friends. Food was good but portions were small. However I had better Thai Food. The place was a little noisy even there were plenty of empty tables. Service was good and they were attentive. Location...is great right on Jack London Square.More

Our son and daughter-in-law brought us to this place in Jack London Square when we visited them, and it was my first experience with Thai food. Oh my goodness, I have been missing a taste sensation! First, we ordered a punch bowl full of drinks...(the ice cubes were blinking lights!) that was very yummy and gave the four of us multiple servings. Then we ordered a seared ahi appetizer to share---we all agreed it was great with just enough spice for each of our palates. I ordered the crab fried rice that was really good, and plenty leftover to take back to the hotel for a midnight snack. Since it was my first experience with this cuisine, my dining mates each allowed me to taste their entrees, and they were all superb. The red curry pork was my favorite. The food was all very very good, but the fun and festive atmosphere added an element of joy, as well. I can't wait to go back for another visit to Oakland to return here!More

How did I not remember to post a review for the best Thai place in the bay area? I brought a bunch of colleagues - among which was one self-proclaimed foodie and one not very adventurous eater from Memphis, plus one hard to impress Bay...Area native and a younger colleague from North Carolina. So basically, we had the spectrum. Everybody moaned and exclaimed with delight through every bite of a slew of appetizers, 5 huge mains, and two desserts. Not one morsel was left despite claims everyone was full. The "not very adventurous" eater said that I had courage to serve fried chicken to a bunch of Southerners. Then he said that he was clinically depressed because I ruined Thai food in Memphis for him. "Now when my wife says she wants to go for Thai food, I'm going to have to tell her that there is no Thai food in Memphis. That's sad." He even ate the blue rice, which he eyed with great suspicion. The foodie colleague jumped out of her chair and ran over to greet a bunch of people that she was attending a conference with to tell them what to order, which was basically everything we had just ordered. I adore this place. I've had my birthday here with my children. They bang the gong and sing with Joy. The view of the bay is great. The service is excellent. The only way you can go wrong here is if you don't have reservations. Then you will seriously be depressed.More

This hotel sits in a lovely location. From the outside, you can see the boats and the bay. We love Thai food and by far, this is the very best thai food i've ever tasted (including the restaurants we visited in Bangkok). The dessert platter...was a sight to feast! It's a little pricey for Thai food but you absolutely get what you pay for - totally worth it.More

Farmhouse Kitchen. Serves the fresh, made to order dishes. The taste of each dish was vibrant and well balanced. My wife and I split the lunch special which includes two small plates, soup and an entree for $27. We had the green curry with Wagyu...beef as the entree. The blue rice is off the chain delicious and a first for me. Farmhouse Kitchen Thai Cuisine is a must-do experience when near Jack London Station.
