Walk in the door, place your order, seat yourself! Food (bbq) was quite good, but Never serve bbq with the sauce-- too many diverse tastes for everyone to like your sauce. Serve on the side. Decor kind of dated...not a clean homey ambience. No one ever came to our table again after food was delivered to us. Strange!!

We loved this country picnic-style, casual restaurant on Highway 41 in Oakhurst. Order from among standard menu items and daily chalkboard specials at the counter, and munch on peanuts in the shell in metal buckets on your table until your food is ready a few minutes later. Generous and delicious hearty barbecue lunches are served in paper-lined baskets. Fresh entree... More

Stopped here for lunch not knowing anything about it. Pulled pork sandwich and special Cajun jambalaya were delicious. Prices aren't cheap - along with a couple of beers our lunch ran $35 - but in a high tourism area hey aren't totally unreasonable.

I ordered a cheese burger and wow what great cheese burger it was. My wife had a salad plate. That salad plate had a lot of salad. The place looks great on the outside with outside dining option, the smoke from recent fires made it uncomfortable. Dining on the inside fooled us and went rustic, with creaky chairs. My wife... We were staying in Oakhurst so decided to try Alice's. The good news is what we ordered (pulled pork sandwich and a corn, black bean and chicken salad) were good. Full of flavour. The bad news is the Ribs were sold out and it was only 6pm. The place wasn't very clean and the poor table next door to us... More

We all chose something different and we were so surprised at how good it all was. The pulled pork sandwich, tri-tip sandwich, pulled pork tacos, and chicken tenders were great! Little bit pricey but better quality food. Kids meals started at $7.00 and sandwich meals were $13.00. Cute little place! Would definitely recommend and go again!

I had the brisket and it was tender and tasty. Our kids found some tasty options as well. They even have beer! The place is busy but they have a good system and provide service with a smile.

Food was good. Husband loved the ribs. They should add Mac n cheese as a side. The girls loved the garlic bread and tri tip. Bbq sauce had too much pepper. They should have more options on Bbq. The only thing I found gross was all the flies inside and food under the tables. They need to clean the dining... More

We had a great lunch at Alice's. Charming service, very tasty food - the barbecue ribs were perfect. And fantastic value. I highly recommend you go.
