We visited Alice's after finding out that all the restaurants at the Tenaya Lodge were terrible. Alice's was a great little place. Excellent food, very good prices and a real gem. Would recommend to anyone staying at the Tenaya Logde

The BBQ was very good, but a tad pricey when I compare it with other BBQ places that I've been to on the east coast.

Ribs are pretty good. No much food at all in this area. One tip, they give you a lot of food so beware how much you order. We could have split one dinner.

Stopped last week on our way out of Oakhurst. We have been there several times over the past 5 or 6 years. The food and service are always excellent. Very good BBQ tri-tip, pulled pork, etc. Good cole slaw and other sides. Not too expensive.

Nice lunch, love chilli cheese burger and very generous salad with lots of fresh leaves and beautiful avocado. Will be back!

This place has the most tastiest food, if you want something quick but very tasty then go here. Walk in, order your food and sit and wait (literally a few mins) Great tasting and very filling

Walk in the door, place your order, seat yourself! Food (bbq) was quite good, but Never serve bbq with the sauce-- too many diverse tastes for everyone to like your sauce. Serve on the side. Decor kind of dated...not a clean homey ambience. No one ever came to our table again after food was delivered to us. Strange!!

We loved this country picnic-style, casual restaurant on Highway 41 in Oakhurst. Order from among standard menu items and daily chalkboard specials at the counter, and munch on peanuts in the shell in metal buckets on your table until your food is ready a few minutes later. Generous and delicious hearty barbecue lunches are served in paper-lined baskets. Fresh entree... More
