We were in Oakhurst for a few days and stopped at Pete's for breakfast one morning (they say that Harrison Ford eats here occasionally...). Well, no Ford, but the breakfast was amazing - and served so quickly! Even though there were twelve in our group, everyone was served almost at the same time, and within about 10 minutes of sitting... More

After reading all the breakfast reviews, it makes me sad that we didn't get to leave a day earlier and spend the night here. But we were driving in from Orange County, and this was our lunch stop on the way into Yosemite Valley. The first thing you notice is that Pete's has Greek lettering on the side. As you... More

A proper traditional American Diner with great food and great service. We even got advice on sharing the meals amongst our young children, due to the generous proportions. Great French Toast.

So, it was really freakin' hot when we were in Oakhurst so when we decided not to cook (again), I stipulated that I wouldn't get out of the car. Which, in other places, would leave you with the regular suspects (Carl's Jr., McDonalds, Jack in the Box). THANK YOU to the person that included in their review that Pete's has... More

If you're hungry, really hungry for a great breakfast burrito that is VERY large, tasty and cooked to order, stop here,. They have a drive through but go inside if you want to see efficiency in motion. Good coffee, too--fresh, not just hot. The burritos come with ham or bacon, country style potatoes and don't forget the salsa, which is... More

The food is solid, but many dishes are expensive. At $12 for a omelet, i'll skip it for breakfast, though the breakfast burrito can feed two people easily. Burger is good, and the zucchini fries are a must have.

HOMEMADE SAUSAGE/BACON GRAVY!!!!! Not that nasty stuff from a mix. Huge portions and the food came to our table almost instantly.

If you've a hankering for the best sandwiches and 'fast food' variety in the mountain area prepared perfectly with large portions, great value: then please don't come more than a couple times on your visit to Oakhurst. The breakfasts, most under $6, have more items and subitems than Denny's (plus it's way better) less expensive and the coffee with unlimited... More

Go here if you like fast food type American breakfasts. Hearty mashup meal, if you plan on hiking for example and you need the energy.

We are locals that eat here at Pete's, at least once a week. A Philly cheese sandwich and a huge crispy salad is one of our favorite lunches. Lots of meat and cheese with onions and bell peppers stuffed into a fresh roll and served so hot you will have to let it cool a bit before attempting to eat... More
