We went to a Christmas parade at Bass lake and as we were driving home we decided to stop in Oakhurst for dinner. There were 7 of us and so we got the Mammoth with coleslaw and beans. We also ordered the twice baked potatoes...More

My family stumbled upon Smokehouse 41 on our way to Yosemite and we're so glad we did. This was some of the best barbecue I've ever had. It was just that good. The meat was tender and delicious, the portions were huge and the barbecue...More

Stopped here based on their ad, thought it would be a full-service restaurant. Turned out to be an order at the counter and take your food to a table kinda place. But everyone is really friendly and the food is great. The tri tip was...More

The Pitmaster Sandwich was very good, but lacked the wood smoked oak and/or mesquite flavor I love in BBQ. Not to blame them, as I doubt they have access to good oak and/or mesquite wood. As we all know, the best food comes from the...More

The meats (brisket, tri-tip, pulled pork, chicken) were all delicious and perfectly smoked with a great flavor. The sides were yummy and had generous portions. Highly recommend the potato casserole. The staff was friendly and helpful. Can’t figure out why this place isn’t slammed with...More

If you go for the outside you would not necessarily enter, but that would be a severe mistake. Meat is excellent, especially the brisket. And if you go for a side take the BBQ beans. And to close the hot skillet cookie and you will...More

The food is great- brisket and spareribs were our favorites. As side dishes I would recommend the mac-cheese with jalapeños and the coleslaw on vinegar base. The place itself is not very cosy and feels more like fastfood rather than a restaurant where you would...More

Like most people, we have our favorite barbeque place that we compare all other barbeque to. But since we were not in South Texas, this was very good barbecue. We had the tri-tip and beef brisket, which were both juicy and the sides were basic...More

Food gets 5 stars, excellent meats and the brisket was fantastic. Authentic food and not too expensive. Decent portions. Overall 4 stars just because the atmosphere could be a bit nicer. It’s more of a cafeteria-style place with plastic utensils as some people have mentioned.

Smokehouse41 is paving the way for Fast Causal - California style BBQ. We are the first fast casual restaurant located in Oakhurst California at the South gate entrance to Yosemite National park. We offer quick service with quality BBQ smoked meats and house made sides. We keep our menu simple so we can focus on excellence. Our meats and sides are prepared daily giving our guests the quality they deserve. Our famous trip-tip is smoked then reversed seared on a bed of hot coals. The brontosaurus rib ( giant beef rib) is a popular item that can feed up to two people and the brisket is smoked over 14 hours and melts in your mouth. The popular Twice baked potato casserole is warm and filled with cheesy goodness that will bring you back for more. Lets not forget the 41 baker ( jumbo sweet potato ) topped with butter, brisket, cheddar cheese and house-made chipotle sauce. At Smokehouse41 we offer a friendly, warm environment for all. We look forward to serving you.
