Wow! The food here is deliciously amazing! It's organic, fresh and so many yummy vegan/vegetarian options. The edemame dumplings were a great start followed by the Ancient Grain bowl with 'salmon'. The open space seating looking into the open kitchen let's you see how fresh the food is and how clean the kitchen and serving stations are. The chef sent... More
The quality of cuisine is wonderful. Thoughtful menus all very healthy and original. One can see the open kitchen, great beers and wines too!
I had lunch here today. I ordered the Medicine Man drink (ice tea with pomegranate and other extracts/juices added) and a pizza (half brussels sprouts and half chicken sausage). The pizza was very good, full of flavor, on a flatbread/thin crust and the good portion for lunch. The drink was good but a bit too sweet for my taste. The... More
I love True Food. A dear friend introduced me to it a couple of years ago. Being a vegetarian, organic food lover and generally a health-conscious eater, I consider this place heaven. Food is great, service is fantastic, parking is great. I have now been here for lunch, brunch, and dinner. Food is reasonably priced, too. My favorites are the... More
Love Love True Food Kitchen. Such variety and everything is absolutely delicious. Ingredients are always fresh and the restaurant is quite large with an open airy feel. One of my favorite casual spots in Newport.
It's a pleasure to be able to get the kind of food I would make for myself at home, here at True Food Kitchen. My server, Brittany, makes the experience there, even better as she understands that each person has their own individual needs.
I always love coming to True Food. Although parking is sometimes hard to find in this busy mall area, the food and staff never disappoint. The edamame dumplings are my go-to and it is hard to find better shirataki noodle dishes everywhere. They kindly substituted noodles for the rice in the thai curry. The spaghetti squash is dynamite as well.
Dinner with a toddler can sometimes be a harrowing experience but not at True Food Kitchen. The covered patio space and the friendly service, not to mention a wonderful pizza made it easy to be with little one. The food in general is healthy without being too preachy and one can have also indulgences with good drinks and interesting dishes.... More
I was out running errands by myself and wanted a lunch that would feel like a treat yet keep me on track nutrition wise. This fit the bill perfectly. AND the staff was super friendly -- from the hostess that learned my name to the waiter that kept refilling my water glass. I would have liked to see one or... More
