This place is BUSY! Plan for a few extra minutes to park. But the coffee and ambiance is wonderful. They even roast their own coffee here.

Extraordinary care taken in producing the freshest, most flavorful cup of coffee. Every sip feels like medicine for the soul--maybe it has to do with the intentions of the owners--this place is not to be missed.

I had the Turkish latte with Cardamom. It was a really nice change from my usual morning coffee. The barista was professional and quick. The atmosphere is good. Parking was not an issue. There are plenty of tables. It was very nice, I would go back. Tip: they don't have wifi.

Hot and humid today. Perfect for a Creamsycle at Kean's. A 50/50 blend of orange and vanilla ice cream to cool you off. Life is good!

Best espresso, cappuccino, coffee, and they find local bakeries to compliment their perfection. We absolutely adored them and the by sheer coincidence saw one of the owners on the show "how stuff works" (I belive that's the one) and it all clicked on it's Diedrich's coffee. That's their passion to make the best with the best ingredients and finding the... More

My wife and I have been to this coffee shop twice...and have really enjoyed it. We go each time we visit Orange County from Washington State. I tried the Turkish Cafe Latte and really liked it. Both times we visited they were fairly busy when we arrived but they had a line out the door at some point before we... More

EXCELENT coffee! I had the Turkish Café Latte with Cardamon. It was dark and so smooth. Perfect amount of flavor and spices. I don't usually go for spice, but it totally worked. They have interesting choices of pastries too. I'm looking forward to going back to try some. We got 4 coffees for $12 dollars. 2 of them were specialty... More

This place and its sister property in Tustin are both great places for coffee. We are at one of them at least twice weekly. Besides coffee, they also have excellent iced teas (the green tea lemonade is my wife's favorite while I like the pear ginger black tea) and fresh fruit, yoghurt, and assorted pastries. Its a bit expensive but... More

Kean Coffee is an independent coffee roaster/coffeehouse owned and operated by Martin and Karen Diedrich. Martin Diedrich founded Diedrich Coffee in 1984, which developed out of his father Carl Diedrich's coffee roasting business. Diedrich Coffee grew from it's roots as an Orange County favorite to become a rather large company, eventually going public and acquiring other coffee chains. In 2004 Martin parted ways with his company and founded Kean Coffee, named for his son, in order to return to his roots as a small, local, independent coffeehouse operator. With Kean Coffee, Martin and Karen have brought the focus back to quality and community, again roasting coffee in-house and elevating coffee to an art form. Kean Coffee is a true community gathering place.
