Well, I was trying to give Panera another chance but they all seem to have one thing in common, DIRTY. If I had been alone I would have asked for my money back, and left. I will never try another Panera. I have learned my lesson...

I miss the Asian chicken salad--the new replacement isn't quite as refreshing (dressing has changed). Other standards are standard. This Panera has quick service, but the outdoor tables are on a semi-trafficked roadway and so not used very often.

Visited Panera bread for breakfast whilst staying in Newport Beach recently. The restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly. The food looked tempting and when it came it did not disappoint...all tasted great and the bread was to die for! Not too badly priced, tasted yummy...would definitely go again!

Love a Panera & this one suited us fine. Nice friendly service from a lovely girl. Good coffee selection & delicious Asiago cheese bagels. Ohhh it's good to be back.

Casual dining . Needed a turkey sandwich and they have an excellent one...but $$. We spent close to $50 for 3 for a fairly light lunch and drinks. It was tasty and quick. Be careful what you order.

Ok I never thought I would write a review about a big chain like Panera bread but my experience today could not go unheard. I must say Panera is never my best choice for lunch but it is conveniently located near work that we do go there from time to time. I agree with other reviewers the service at this... More

Panera is a good lunch place, with 'homemade' soups, salads and sandwiches, all with fresh bread. You can take alternatives to the bread (e.g. an apple) if you are doing low carb. There's a broad menu - my particular favorites are the tomato soup, the napa almond chicken salad sandwich and the caesar salad, all of which are yummy. This... More

Panera provides good basic foods (Sandwiches, Soups, Salads, etc.) at a reasonable price. I particularly love their soups and salads, but my wife likes their Panninis.

Wait-staff look like sleep-walkers, and the speed of service is snail pace. Portions are small and expensive. Too many good places near Costa Mesa location to waste your time here.
