My wife and I went to Beachcomber Cafe recently while visiting area. The restaurant is right on beach. We were staying close by and decided to walk beach to get to restaurant. You have to park across the PCH and pay for shuttle to get to restaurant. Cost is $1.50 per person each way. The restaurant has area right on... More

First, you have to park at the State Park parking lot across the highway and take a (convenient and frequent) $1.50 per person shuttle from the lot to the entrance to the park. (Have the restaurant validate your parking lot ticket, which makes it zero instead of $15.) If someone in your car has mobility issues, you can drive down... More

What a perfect combination of great service and view and food all together in one place. The ambience can't be beat for a view of the ocean while sitting on the outside porch area.

We come for early or late breakfasts.it had just rained yesterday so the clear plastic was in place so no wind. They also have heaters and throws on the chair backs.Be prepared for a walk down the hill. Maybe the shuttle is running or we used the handicapped spaces nearby. A historic spot to take visitors for sure. You might... More

This restaurant is on the beach (there are not many in California). The food is very good. Most entrees are around $15. Be sure to request outside eating. The restaurant itself is casual. Definitely worth the time.

This place is raved about by locals and tourists alike. They have far more than your average breakfast joint. It is directly on the beach but the dining area has wind breakers and heat lamps to block out the chilling wind. Make sure you have a reservation because the line gets long fast.

My nephew was going away to college and had never been to the beachcomber..So we thought it be a great idea to take him for a going away breakfast on the beach… It's such a beautiful area to sit and have breakfast or lunch or even dinner because it's right on the sand in Crystal Cove… Not many restaurants are... This is a great restaurant, food is excellent, service good, and view is perfect. Very popular, sign in and expect a wait- it will be worth it. While waiting visit the shops, or walk along the beach- great fun either way.

We went on New Years Day for brunch. Missed it by "that much." So we settled for lunch. Served amazing Bloody Mary's. Our group ordered the Kobe Burger, Steak sandwich and the Shrimp Tacos. The burger was huge and nicely topped. Nice amount of fries. The shrimp tacos were flavorful and fresh. The lime dressed salad was bright and refreshing.... More
