We visited this restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Everything was excellent! The food was prepared perfectly, the presentation was awesome, and the service fantastic. The location of the restaurant couldn't be any better, right on the beach! There were 4 of us and everybody agreed it was the best meal we had in the area. Would highly recommend this place.

A stop at the Beachcomber is a must if you are in the Newport area. Located on the beach in Crystal Cove, this fun restaurant/bar offers an amazing view, great drinks, and a super fun island vibe. Don't be discouraged by the fact that you must park across the street and take a shuttle for $1.50 per person down to... More

I had hoped for brunch but the only reservation I could get was for 7 AM. I'm happy it worked out that way. We parked across PCH and walked down to the restaurant. It wasn't a bad walk at all. Don't forget to take your parking pass because they do validate. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and watched a lovely... More

nice place by the ocean. nothing special though. the food is average, the service too. very casual place. it's on the beach. good place to spend a day outdoor. parking is across the main route and you need to get the shuttle that move back and forth from the parking to the beach, the service is every 10 mins approx... Don't get we wrong this place has a very nice view but it is over priced and our service was not the best. You have a drop off and pick up area and then have to park across the highway which is fine but then they charge you for the shuttle rider to and from the parking lot. The food... More

In town for a quick dinner with my college student son in Orange. Casual open air table a stone's throw from the beach. Watched the sun set. Crab stuffed salmon. Wonderful! My son raved about his braised short ribs. Do order the Brussels sprouts! Happy customers! We'll be back!

The Beachcomber is a special place right on the sand. There are blankets on the chairs in case you get chilly and they have a bloody mary that is a meal in itself! My breakfast didn't turn out so well and had to be sent back, but they brought me a new one and also took it off the bill.... More

Okay, I can see why people like this place. You have to walk to get to it, the view is terrific, and the food is well presented. We just got something to drink. The service was quick and very friendly even though the place was crowded. The price was a bit much, over $10 for two lemonades. Might need to... More

Just found this gem on the beach and I can't wait to come back! It is located within the Crystal Cove State Park. The park rangers will let you drop off your party without a fee, and then you park across the street in their parking lot. Restaurant will validate your ticket so parking is free for 3 hours. You... I eat here every time I am in Newport Beach. Breakfast is especially great. The food is great and the service matches it. If you can, walk there on the beach from the park entrance to the North.
