Wonderful breakfast spot and beyond fabulous service. My coffee mug never went below half full. Hint for this place: Split a breakfast. Portions are huge.

My husband & I were in the area & decided to drop in for a bite. It was difficult to decide between breakfast & lunch, everything looked so good. My husband had the fish tacos. Grilled fish & lots of it, shredded cabbage, avocado, Pico...de Gallo, served in double tortillas. He said it was delicious, very tasty & moist. I had the BLT on squaw bread. Lots of bacon, very good. My side choice was coleslaw, tasty as well. They were very busy as it was lunch time. The service was attentive, always checking on you.More

Wow! Rough service. No smiling & virtual shunning for ordering a beer and then being told I cannot consume it. wth??? Then don’t offer it to me...and definitely don’t sell it to me! Hey, look...I understand the No Alcohol unless dining in law, but come...on people, I’m just NOT fine with the selling me a beer and then making me feel like a criminal for wanting to drink it thing. And me literally having to ask them, multiple times, to refund the cost of the beer. But ESPECIALLY NOW Cappi’s...if I were you (and I do this DAILY in my businesses) I would train your team to blow your customers away with incredible service. Or not. Wife and I were looking for a good breakfast and the reviews at Cappy's drew us in. Big local crowd there so that told us that it had some appeal. I had a pretty good French Toast, and my wife had a very so-so corn...beef hash for breakfast. Expect to wait with Covid restrictions in place. I have passed this place for the last 20 years, over my last weekend getaway we decided to stop because they have some great reviews, we are really glad we did, during COVID-19 they do have the interior seating but it’s limited and they have...a nice tent set up in the parking lot outback, it’s A well oiled machine, The check in process is done via iPad and they send you a text message, it was extremely busy they got us in within 15 minutes, service was prompt, we got coffee, bottomless mimosas and I had a bloody Mary, highly recommended, breakfast is solid, great portion sizing and flavor, during the hour we were there our drinks were constantly refilled and someone is always checking on you throughout your experience, there is absolutely no shortage of servers we were extremely impressed, we did notice they are doing some work to the interior of the restaurant and they are painting a new mural which is pretty damn impressive, overall even with Covid and in the outdoor dining experience, five stars, everyone was friendly, helpful and made it a really enjoyable experience,In fact, the night before we ate a certain restaurant in Huntington Beach adjacent the pier, dropped well over 100 bucks and wish we had gone to Cappys instead. If you’re in Newport, or breakfast lunch or dinner I’d highly recommended this place, they also seem to be able to get takeout orders in a priority fashion, try it, you can’t go wrongMore

We really enjoyed our breakfast. The canopied space behind the restaurant building allows for well-positioned tables, while the extensive menu affords tremendous choices. Highly recommended.

Went in here for lunch based upon all the great reviews. Some nice outside patio seating but most is inside. Friendly staff and I was helped by 3-4 different people. I had the omelette and it was fine. Just OK. Hasbrowns were not great. Toast...was good. Prices were low for CA.More

There is off street parking. The restaurant was crowded, but were able to be seated. Waitress took our order and service was a little slow, but the place was packed. My wife had Cappy's Club with avocado which was large. I had waffle with bacon;...waffle was thin but good.More

went with my son one morning and it was fantastic. took the rest of my family the following morning and it was great again. friendly and helpful staff and the food and selections are great.

My boyfriend and I stopped in while visiting the area on a Sunday morning. Although the place was packed, our wait was shockingly short! We got a booth with views of the football game (bf happy) and ordered breakfast. This may sound crazy but they...had the best bacon I have ever tasted!! The food was quick, service was on point and super friendly. Overall it was an amazing experience. I would highly recommend!More

We were on the beach and I took a walk to find some sandwiches to go. Found this place nearby. Clearly there is more to the place than sandwiches, as it was packed, but all I can tell you is that the hot pastrami on...rye was out of this world. Greasy, fatty and messy. Just the way I love Pastrami. Loved it.More
