Great food, great service, great time. Wife ordered cinnamons French toast combo, I had the California omelet with seasoned potatoes and biscuit and gravy both were delicious and oh so filling. The entire wait staff were friendly and accommodating, They displayed great teamwork, Gabby and Maddie especially.

Big portions, food priced well for the area. The food was very good and flavorful. We ordered Machaca, cinnamon swirl French toast, and breakfast burrito with shredded beef. The cinnamon swirl French toast was very moist, warm and very flavorful. It was served with a little bowl of butter and syrup. I like that they have so many options for turkey substitute or vegetarian options. The jalapeños were fresh, big, and spicy. The shredded beef was very tender.

My husband & I were in the area & decided to drop in for a bite. It was difficult to decide between breakfast & lunch, everything looked so good.
My husband had the fish tacos. Grilled fish & lots of it, shredded cabbage, avocado, Pico de Gallo, served in double tortillas. He said it was delicious, very tasty & moist.
I had the BLT on squaw bread. Lots of bacon, very good. My side choice was coleslaw, tasty as well.
They were very busy as it was lunch time. The service was attentive, always checking on you.

Our fish tacos our fresh Mahi Mahi with two tortillas to keep all the fish in the taco.

The rudest waitress and hostess I have ever encountered!
That is saying something because I do A lot of dining out! If I had not been with family I would have walked out.
The waitress was so rude right after I said “I am so glad you are our waitress” because the hostess curtly gave us our menus gave us a dirty look and stomped away. We did nothing to deserve this type of behavior. You can hardly call it service. The only thing I think we did “wrong”in was come in at 1:30 not knowing not that this was a breakfast and lunch restaurant only, since it was our first time at this restaurant.
The waitress made sure we knew it was close to closing time after we had ordered. My pastrami sandwich was cold, fried, oily and tasteless. Everyone else seemed to enjoy the food.
I would return only to talk to the manager but I suspect it would do no good since the waitress was so rude to me in particular. Maybe it may be because I have a voice that sounds like a foreigner even though my family was born and raised in then U. S for many generations.
I don’t know, but I won’t be back.

Wife and I were looking for a good breakfast and the reviews at Cappy's drew us in. Big local crowd there so that told us that it had some appeal. I had a pretty good French Toast, and my wife had a very so-so corn beef hash for breakfast. Expect to wait with Covid restrictions in place. We walked away thinking it was an average place that didn't really distinguish itself in our eyes. Maybe next time

We are happy you enjoyed your French Toast.
Most customers say Cappy's Homemade Corn Beef hash is the "best they ever had" so
i'm not sure why your wife didn't enjoy her meal.
Next time you can try many other Cappy's favorites.

There is off street parking. The restaurant was crowded, but were able to be seated. Waitress took our order and service was a little slow, but the place was packed. My wife had Cappy's Club with avocado which was large. I had waffle with bacon; waffle was thin but good.

We have 45 parking spots along with off-street parking so plenty of parking available given our location across PCH from the beach. Next time try our new item thats a huge hit called Cinnamon Swirl French toast.

Went in here for lunch based upon all the great reviews. Some nice outside patio seating but most is inside. Friendly staff and I was helped by 3-4 different people. I had the omelette and it was fine. Just OK. Hasbrowns were not great. Toast was good. Prices were low for CA.

Great machacas! Denver omelet was just ok. Sweet, helpful staff. Would stop again when in the area.
Nice, clean bathrooms, ample parking and covered outdoor dining.

Next time, please ask for your eggs to be remade if you don't like the way they came out and we will gladly redo the eggs.

Wonderful breakfast spot and beyond fabulous service. My coffee mug never went below half full. Hint for this place: Split a breakfast. Portions are huge.
