I have eaten at several Tommy Bahama restaurants and enjoy their Caribbean atmosphere and menu options. This one has a less tropical, casual feel; decor is stylish, yet comfortable. Drinks are imaginative. Coconut shrimp app a small share with only 4 to go around our table of 4. 3 of us ordered the ribs. These were excellent with a blackberry... More

I have always been a fan of Tommy Bahama, coming from the east coast, however this restaurant does not live up to the others I have eaten at. I will say the Kona coffee crusted ribeye was excellent and does deserve more than the two stars I gave overall, but there is where it ends. The "fish and chips" was way... More

I had cob salad with chicken which was good. My wife had Lobster sandwich with soup and it was largely disappointing. The restaurant has changed this sandwich to now resemble a ground lobster / cheese mixture. Previous visits this sandwich had chunks of lobster, now it resembles ground up tuna fish.

Very casual restaurant with a tropical vibe. Loved the coconut shrimp and the burgers. The fish tacos were very good, but the taco shells were a little mushy. Also, the Signature Cocktails were excellent.

I am a Newport Beach resident and although I had known about this restaurant when it first opened, many years ago, I was not even aware that it was even open and so good! The restaurant is situated inside the Tommy Bahama retail store in the Bristol Farms strip mall near the Newport Beach City Hall, just outside Fashion Island.... More

My colleague suggested that we dine at Tommy Bahama's while on a business trip, and I could not have been more delightfully surprised. GREAT food, wonderful, comfortable atmosphere. My only regret is that we were pressed for time. Otherwise, I would have sat on that lovely outdoor patio with a glass of wine all afternoon.

We took 10 people, 6 kids age 4-13, and had An amazing meal. Their food was unique and delicious. The fish is fresh, the combinations are original and fantastic. Nothing is plain, except for kids meals that are requested to be that way for the picky eater. But one of my girls for the fish and chips which came with... More

On a recent Saturday, 22 of us enjoyed lunch on the patio. We preselected a menu with three main entrees. The Filet Mignon and Macadamia Nut Crusted Snapper proved more popular than the Parmesan Crusted Sanibel Chicken, but everyone sitting close to me raved how delicious the meal was. I had the filet and it was superb, as was the... More

Taking the family out for dinner in Newport Beach can always be an expensive adventure. While TB's isn't cheap, the quality, quantity, service and ambience easily makes up some of the more expensive dinner entrée's. The appetizers, soup, salads and kid menu items are very well priced which really do provide excellent "bang for the buck". Service and attention to... More
