Basilic is celebrating 20 years of service and the food and service is just phenomenal. There are only 8 tables (plus 1 or 2 outside) in this quaint little Swiss/French bistro. The food is exceptional and the wine list is very nicely priced. Highly recommended...More

Have been dining here regularly for the past 6 months. Every occasion the food is phenomenal, the service impeccable, the staff ever so gracious and on point. If you loved Paris, you'll love Basilic. Highly recommend: Beef tartare, charcuterie, roasted duck, the rack of lamb,...More

Came here for my birthday. Cozy French/Swiss restaurant with about 8 tables inside and 1 outside. Ordered the bouillabaisse and hubby the lamb chops, both of which were good. Dessert of the day was awesome. Great food overall and good value.

We had a wonderful meal at Basilic. The foie gras was delicious, the creative seasonal salad was fresh, the fish (special) perfectly cooked. Nice champagne by the glass and well as wine choices with dinner. It is a cute little place. It was nice to...More

Great French restaurant... tiny, with only about 8 or so tables, so reserve... but worth it... The owners are the chef and waiter I believe, and they treat you like family. The menu is small but has grand choices and wonderful taste. They made us...More

Very cute small restaurant. The veal and lamb were delicious. The mushroom and parsley soup was not our favorite. Prices were very reasonable. The restroom is a voyage.

When we lived on the Island we could always count on a great meal and quality service that made our guests feel special. It also was our "go to place" for date night!

Hello, I've eaten in your restaurant many times and of course loved it. You use to have raclette only the first Tuesday of the month as I recall. I checked your menu and now I see that you feature it as an appetizer. Does that mean that it's no longer available as an entree? A friend from Montreal just moved here and she is so excited to learn about a place that serves Raclette. I'd love to bring her there if its available as a prime. Thanks so much, Cheri B

Hi, my son and daughter in law live in Newport Beach. Debbie has a birthday coming up in March and I am thinking a nice meal out would be a welcome gift. What sort of prices are found on the menu at this restaurant and would it be possible to buy a gift voucher. What do you suggest? Thank you. Vanessa
