My husband and I had dinner last weekend at Basilic, just the two of us here for the first time in quite a while—as we always seem to be bringing friends and clients to eat with us here, being as it’s my favorite in OC....More

Quaint little restaurant specializing in Swiss Cuisine. Food is lovely and prepared to perfection. Lamb Chops ,Zurich “Geschnetzeltes, Bouillabaisse & Coq au Vin for main course. Interesting dessert & starter choices. Nightly specials are also offered. With 8 tables, I suggest making reservation before hand.

This very little Jewel will delight your taste buds. From the wine selection to the fresh salad from the chefs garden encourages us to visit every time we are in Newport Beach CA. The fresh Sea Bass and Lamp are off the charts.

Basilic is celebrating 20 years of service and the food and service is just phenomenal. There are only 8 tables (plus 1 or 2 outside) in this quaint little Swiss/French bistro. The food is exceptional and the wine list is very nicely priced. Highly recommended...More

Smart, dressy a bit more for the ladies. Shorts, t-shirts, and the like belong on the beach and never at a good dining establishment.
