This is a very good restaurant, elegant with very good food. I recommend you go for fish, due to the proximity with the ocean, although meat is excellent as well. In a party of 7 we shared oysters, caviar and fried calamari, all excellent. Then I went for a fantastic sea-bass. The beer selection is great. A valet parking is... More

I have to start off by saying this restaurant is way out of my fiduciary comfort zone and far and away the most expensive couple's meal I ever bought. That being said, it was my wife's 50th birthday so cost wasn't a factor to me. We found this place on a lark and are glad we did. Seating was without... More

Recent visit to the Cannery was extremely disappointing. This, on the water, bring your own boat, can have very spotty food. The John Dory, usually tasty, was tough and teamed with a broccoli hybrid that was charred and sour. They need quality control. The 4 of us left lots of food on our plates. No need to take this meal... More

Good was delicious. Service was nearly perfect. Valet parking is reasonable at $4. We were comfortably seated on the balcony and enjoying an unseasonably warm autumn night. Waters were served and drinks ordered. The food was served promptly. Unfortunately, they forgot our asparagus and finding out server at the time wasn't possible. She checked in on us a few times... From the outside, the restaurant looks like old and dumpy, but my husband insisted we go because of the wonderful experience he had years ago. From the outset, the valet service was unfriendly and cold. The men barely made eye contact, no smiles or communication - a terrible first impression. The hostesses, however, were very friendly, smiling and energetic. Our... More

Went here for drinks and dinner during the week. Even if you plan on going during the week, make reservations as they were busy. This was an absolute treat; my grilled swordfish was prepared exactly as I wished (i.e. simply grilled) and it came out perfect. The service is outstanding and they have a very good wine selection. Tuesday night... More

dinner at the cannery was excellent. Branzino was perfectly cooked and delicious. The fish stew (can't spell boulasbaise) was very well done and included lobster. The wine list is pricey but found a oregon pinot for 70$ The nautical decorating theme adds a nice charm to the main room but prefer the open air deck. Can't miss dinner...
