We have visited all three times we visited Newport Beach. Really good food, not too bad for price for Newport Beach, but parking there is tough. Small and homey atmosphere and take out for sale plus fresh seafood to take home.

I've been eating here since I was a kid and never disappoints. Their cheese potato side is delicious along with their smoked fish and tartar sauce. Lots of fresh seafood! Two locations, both great!

Found this gem of a restaurant online while looking for seafood eats. On the outside it doesn't look like much, but what a fabulous experience eating there! Food was delicious to say the least! Great atmosphere! Excellent staff! Great prices! Definitely worth the trip!

I LOVE SEAFOOD! I was very disappointed with the quality of the food. Scallops are my favorite, but these were rubber. Very disappointing.

For my wife's birthday we headed to Newport Beach and enjoyed one of our perineal favorites. The Crab Cooker is a "must visit" any time we go to Newport Beach. Their halibut is AMAZING!

Walking around the beach area and just didn't like the restaurants there. Spotted the Crab Cooker a few blocks away and decided to give it a try. Once I walked in I knew this was the right choice, the crowd makeup confirmed that, locals and...More

This humble seafood restaurant is a Newport Beach classic! Very casual (paper plates, etc) but the food is excellent. My favorites are the clam chowder (which is Manhattan style - I am normally a New England fan but this one is great). I also like...More

My husband and I took the kids out to dinner this evening and had the worst experience EVER! Speaking to anybody who knows seafood and "freshness", you will want to avoid this place! We went out for lobster only to receive lobster meat on a...More

The seafood was delicious and plentiful. I had the fish stew and my husband had grilled halibut with grilled peaches, which he enjoyed very much. Not so much on ambience, but the food was great!

This restaurant was recommended by two different individuals and our expectations were high. What a disappointment!!! We knew the atmosphere was casual. It is located at the beach so we weren't expecting elegance but we were expecting excellent quality seafood. Being a New Yorker, I...More

No reservations. President Nixon had to wait in line, like everyone else, on his visit here. The wait out front on the benches is very much a part of the charm. Your opportunity to chat with locals and out of towners.

This is a true seafood restaurant. If it couldn't be caught in the ocean that day, it won't be on the menu.
