This is a great people watching spot that has a varied menu with something for everyone. Service was great and attentive. There were five of us in our party and we all had something different and shared. Everything we had was delicious and different, and...all the portions were huge. Start with the Mushroom Fries...outstanding! The Steak Burger was fresh, cooked perfectly and had a great aioli sauce. Spicy Chicken Sandwich tender and flavorful. Fish tacos were great with their own special salsa, The BLT was huge with their signature bacon, and the chopped salad full of fresh ingredients. With all this food, dessert is a must do. We had the begniets with lemon kurd and Maple Doughnut and both were so incredible you HAD to finish them.More

Newport Beach Restaurant Week is upon us and last night I tried the Great Maple at Fashion Island. They offered a $30 dinner menu that was really filling. My friend and I started off the night with Maple Bacon Old Fashioneds ($11). Then we decided...on the NBRW menu. For starters, we opted for the Truffle Deviled eggs and Modern Caesar salad. We also decided on the Market Fish which was Barramundi at the time and the Salted Caramel Pork Ribs. For dessert, we were told that the seasonal doughnut was a Samoa flavor (chocolate caramel coconut) so we ordered that and the maple bacon doughnut to try. The drinks came out first and then the appetizers. They had seated us at the booth closest to the patio door and it was really drafty when the servers would go out and back into the restaurant. The appetizers eventually arrived and they were plated well. The deviled eggs had a lovely parmesan crisp and served on a bed of arugula. The deviled eggs were delicious. I didn’t try the salad but it looked good and my friend consumed it in its entirety. The entrees took some time to arrive but they were definitely pretty also. The fish arrived with crisp vegetables. The pork ribs were served with parmesan fries and the best breaded onion strings I’ve had. The corn on the cob was blackened and the ribs were fork tender. The doughnuts came out last but they were served warm and fresh from the fryer. The seasonal doughnut was definitely the best doughnut I’ve had at a restaurant. I really like what they offered on their NBRW menu and it was nice to have some variety as opposed to just a fish or short ribs offering. I can’t wait to check out other participating restaurants! Newport Beach Restaurant Week goes until January 26, 2020. Check out their website for more details.More

I had the French Toast Logs. Its 4 Brioche logs, coverd in maple bacon syrup with blueberries and powdered sugar. This was So GOOD and filling. And yes, you are seeing bacon pieces on top. Get there early, they have a really good brunch

I saw the beignets on the menu so I kept my dinner simple. The Cauliflower soup was delicious and was just enough to satisfy but not too much so I had room for dessert! Oh, and the bignets come with a lemon curd dipping sauce...

Great spot to celebrating a special occasion or hosting a business meeting. From menus to décor, Great Maple's staff are happy to serve you. We have been here many times. Great food, drinks and service! Special thanks to GM Ryan Cirel for always making us...feel at home. Bartenders Thomas and Alister are super friendly and great mixologist! The Host "Ever" was very nice too! My favorite appetizer is the deviled eggs. They are the best I've ever had! They have my favorite drink "Jameson." All of their food is delicious! The restaurant and bar have a great vibe and atmosphere. Me and Wifey are looking forward to visiting again real soon.More

First time to be here.Ordered portabello mushroom fried and fried chicken and donut. Waffle and chicken are common but their entree with donut sprinkle with crispy bacon and sweetened with caramel was heaven. The portobello mushroom with dip is a healthy choice for appetizer. I...came here for brunch and I ate them all!More

We’ve eaten at this restaurant several times. It’s inside or outside dining, very casual, but consistently good quality & service. We like the patio. If it’s cold outside, they’ll turn on the heaters. Our daughter wanted to go again, and their menu had been updated...since the last time. All items selected were wonderful - salmon, turkey burger, salad, roasted cauliflower, deviled eggs starter. One thing we miss is a menu item from long ago - roasted chicken & mashed potatoes.More
