Very nice decor and food was tasty. Chips and salsa were good and plentiful. I, personally, thought the service, food preperation, was a little slow for thee number of clientele in the restaurant. Was a nice meal but nothing out the ordinary.

We go here about once a week. The Chips and Salsa are unmatched, they are the best. The food is excellent, I like the Chicken Fajitas, Arroz Con Pollo, and the Enchiladas Suizas. The servers are very friendly and do a great job, especially Raul. Margaritas are awesome, see you there.

Their Burritos are wonderful. We lived up the hill for a year and ate at The Alamo many times and were never disappointed. The decor is nothing to write home about and service is not exceptional. Just go have a meal. You'll love the food and the price is so reasonable. Share the Burritos are big.

This is the best mexican food in the Conejo Valley. The chips are always fresh and hot and the salsa is just right. Not too hot or spicy. We've been going to Alamo for years and have even used their catering service for family events. Try the chicken Flautas. They aren't on the menu anymore, but they will make them... More

The Alamo has been here for decades. We were introduced to this family owned place over 30 years ago. The food is consistently good. The platters are huge and the weekly buffet is an excellent deal. Great, casual place for large groups and families with young kids.

A Newbury Park Mexican food landmark! Best chips on the planet, their food is pretty darn good too. There is a restaurant and bar and a take out window for call in orders or you can just walk up and wait. Try the Alamo burrito and/or the crispy shredded beef tacos! Don't forget the chips and salsa and a pomegranate... More

The food is really good. The service is exceptional. There is a bar attached, but I have not been there. The most fun is the tableside guacamole service. they also can accommodate large groups of 50.

We have frequented Alamo but now every time we go the service is terribly slow. The wait for dinner is almost an hour. In their defense there is only one bar waitress. The owner definitely does not seem to care about the extremely slow service. Because of this terrible service instead of going once a week for a get together... More

The Alamo has a brunch buffet that features all of the Mexican fare favorites with unlimited champagne and mimosas.
