Very good food. I live in Nevada City and it is a very popular restaurant. There are always lots of people there.

Great food and the outdoor patio is the best. There are so many wonderful dishes, it can be hard to decide which one to choose---the portions are generous, so you can't choose too many for one visit. Cool people wait the tables, too.

My parents absolutely love Ike's. This is their regular spot for Sunday mornings. I am more than happy to join them because the food is delicious. Such a great variety of southern food and breakfast basics so everyone will find something to eat. I love the decor because I have been to NOLA and love every poster, mask and set... More

Some nice food offerings in the New Orleans trad. Good selection of beers. Fair weather is best time so you can eat outside in very pleasant, shady setting but the food is always good. Ike's is set just off the main street in historic Nevada City. Credit cards are NOT accepted. Don't be embarrassed though doing dishes there might be... More

This little place would probably be called a "dive" by some. But Guy Fieri has made a whole career out of introducing us to the best of the nation's diners, dives, etc. And this tiny little place under the huge cherry tree is worth searching for. The food is great, the menu is full of stuff I've never heard of.... More

We are a late lunch here on a recent visit. The chicken pesto sandwich was delicious and filling! We grabbed a smoothie from the well stocked fridge and enjoyed our repast on the outdoor patio.

A little flavor of New Orleans in the mountains! This is a quaint spot for breakfast. Large menu and great atmosphere. They have an old piano in the dining room. One of the customers sat down & played a tune. Very cozy!

This was my 2nd visit to Ike's. Their food hits the spot. First off, the gumbo portion is BIG. Get it with the gingered greens on top. The broth us super savory. Lots of meat and veggies. The corn bread is homemade and to die for. Infact, their homemade breads in general are superb. If you're in the Grass Valley/Nevada... More

Sitting under a vine covered arbor, on an old brick patio, being served exceptional organic, delicious foods by delightful people feels like a true vacation!

Love Ike's....love, love, love. Staff is perfect blend of savvy, sweet and nonplussed by grumpy tourists. Food is tremendous! Nice outside seating and cozy inside too.
