South Pine Cafe is just the thing for the slightly adventurous breakfast or lunch. The lines outside the cafe around noon on Saturday had us really worried about the wait, but in fact the wait wasn't more than 5-7 minutes. It's definitely worth the wait. The food was delicious. We recommend trying something a little bit off the beaten track;... More

Good breakfast place, but I have come in there a few times and your potatoes are a bit undercooked. .

It was messy but tables come with lots of napkins and wonderful homemade catsup! My husband (meat-eater) ordered the chorizo benedict served with home fries. He also ordered a side pancake which was... More

There might be a wait on weekends or peak hours, sign in with your name and party if so. This is a good spot for kids. There's wifi too and they even have some adult... More

Cute and clean with good service. Try the homemade habanero sauce and ketchup -nice touch. The south pine sampler was good and offered choices I hadn't had before. Don't get up early as they don't open before 8 am which we thought was weird for a breakfast place.

If you are looking for the ultimate Nevada City experience, look no further than SPC. The cool, hip vibe inside welcomes you in. The art on the walls is always changing (available to purchase). The food is all local, fresh, and sustainable. All sauces are homemade (ketchup and hot sauce) The gluten free options are great, and the fresh berry... More

Loved it! Huwvos rancheros so good. Must have home fries. Homemade apple cinnamon muffin was also delicious.
