With all the semi historic tourist traps on the 66, this restaurant was one of my favorite stops. Good coffee, hearthy breakfast (with a choice of fruit instead of bread or huevos rancheros for the gluten free crowd) in a decor that has probably not changed in 50 years.

First time visit, We found a cheerful welcome. Good service with great menu choices. Western atmosphere. Large portion meals with very large iced tea, especially welcomed because the outside temperature mid August was 115 degrees. Great stop on I-40

this restaurant is just over the road from the hotel we stayed at and I don't think Needles has much else to offer staff are friendly food and cost ok . a few locals eat there which is usually means its good.

We live in Carefree.Arizona and Sonoma,Calif. And every trip we make to and from each destination we stop for either breakfast or lunch at the Wagon Wheel. We get great service and good food, the staff is always very accommodating to all of our needs a good place to stop!

The restaurant offers a variety of choices in their menu. I didn't expect to see fajitas but I did and ordered the steak one. It was good. The portion is just right. The restaurant is kinda old but has some unique decorations and books on the table that you could read while waiting for your order.

I ordered the Albacore tuna melt with potato salad. Both were delicious and had a homemade authenticity to it. The service was fast and friendly. Definitely is a good place to stop on the way to Vegas!

Stopped her for a meal and wasn't sure what to expect but it was wonderful. A lovely little shop for souvenirs on site as well. Restaurant was clean and had a great feel to it. Food was excellent and service prompt and friendly- would highly recommend.

Wagon Wheel is a diner and gift shop located on Historic Route 66 in Needles, CA. Local favorites include hand cut chicken fried steak, homemade country gravy and slow roasted pot roast. Friday night is all you can eat fish for $8.99. Our fish is hand breaded and made with Alaskan cod. Breakfast is served all day. Beer and wine is available and we have plenty of RV, boat and truck parking. Open daily 5:30am -10pm. A local favorite since 1978.
