The staff at this establishment was top notch! From the hostess to the entire wait staff, bartender and management, we were treated like vips. We so enjoyed everything about this restaurant! Food was amazing!

Very good food and service. Enjoyed the atmosphere but just a little loud in there / high ceilings. My salad and catch of the day were very good (5), but I tried a friend’s steak and it was only OK (3). At this price point,...21-day dry aged from Chicago, etc etc. I would expect a perfect steak. This place was so well recommended we had to go. Plus, we love a good steak. We ordered the special which included a dry aged New York with mashed potatoes and broccolini. So perfectly cooked. One of the best steaks of my life! Alex was...our waiter and he did an excellent job! The tiramisu was a perfect ending!More

Worst experience ever. I asked my 2 best friends and their wives if the wanted to come to Napa with me and my wife to celebrate my 50th birthday. They said yes and off we were. An amazing weekend until we got to Coles. Coles...was actually supposed the highlight of or dining experience in Napa, but the management absolutely destroyed that. Our night to go, One of the couple was running late, so we asked if we could wait, they said sure. While we were waiting for the 3rd couple, my wife got a call from her mothers nursing home that she needed to go to the hospital. (She’s 97) My wife tried to down play it to not wreck the night but we had debated it on our way to the table. After we got to the table a gentleman with a full beard showed up to tell me that he had saw us fighting at the bar and followed us up the stairs to confirm his suspicions and we could not drink at Cole’s. When ordered a single bottle of wine for the table he came over to embarrass me and my wife at the table that we were not permitted to drink. I was speechless as nothing like this had ever happened to me. I tried to explain the situation and offered to show my texts on my phone about my mother in law and was ignorantly refused. As we were leaving the manager was there to make sure we left and again never even asking a question. We were guilty of “having A fight” Which we didn’t but no one ever asked. We ended up at Napkins which was a fantastic place that welcomed our group.More

First, let me say that I think we are spoiled in Columbus, Ohio with fabulous restaurants. It makes our standards very high whenever we travel. Cole's atmosphere and service at Cole's was exactly like you'd expect in a high end restaurant- very classy. First, I...ordered the House Sunset drink and the Wild Mushroom Crostini appetizer. Both were perfect and delicious. I ordered the filet and scallops for my main dish, and my daughter ordered the salmon. The filet was good, but not cut with your fork mouthwatering filet I've had in a Jeff Ruby steakhouse (similar high end restaurant). The scallops were mushy and fishy tasting. I didn't complain, but I didn't eat them, either. My daughter's salmon was good, but again didn't compare to Jeff Ruby's or Cameron Mitchell's. Sides were all good, but nothing stood out. Overall, I wouldn't recommend, but I would probably try again just in case it was an off night.More

I enjoyed a fantastic dinner at Coles chophouse. I was with four other business associates. We all enjoyed one of their specialty drinks and everyone’s dinner was perfect. We tried Coles on the off chance they had a table having walked out of our original booked restaurant. Such a wise decision. Two fantastic steaks with creamy potatoes and, naturally, a couple of glasses of local red. All fantastic.

We were there on a super busy Thursday night. You need reservations, even on a weeknight. Be sure to ask for indoor or outdoor seating, if you have preference. They have a large outdoor area with heaters, but it was still too chilly to sit...outside. The food was excellent. The service was very good, not great. We always enjoy Cole's every time we are in town because it is friendly cozy and great seating at the bar. "Jasmon" really made our day with excellent service and fun conversation. We shared a bowl of the Seafood Chowder that was hot, and full...of juicy chunks of fresh seafood in a thick creamy sauce. Excellent!. We also shared a large serving of Fresh baked, very moist Salmon and a side of creamed spinach. Done to perfection and full of great flavors. The seating was comfortable and the noise at a comfortable level. A must for dinner while in NapaMore
