After being next door, at Napkins, we were pleasantly surprised. Food was delicious, and the beer selection was a great contrast to all the great wines

We had dinner here on a recent trip to Napa. You have to try the ostrich burger - it's delicious. Also loved the flight of white wines - they were all excellent. And the homemade Twix bar was to die for!

We had a big group and they took care of us on a very busy night! They had entertainment that was fun as well. Great small plates and wonderful service from the bartenders!

The Airbnb local I stayed with during my weekend in Napa recommended this restaurant. I booked a reservation on Open Table about 20min prior to arriving on a Saturday night. I had to wait about 5min or so for my table. Server was friendly and quick. I ordered the ostrich burger with truffle fries and a Whippersnapper beer. All were... More

Great wine and excellent service. We had the Barratta (a mozzarella based concoction) that was creamy and delicious. Not a great selection of entrees though... But a great place for a light, flavorful meal.

Small plates, made for great food that we shared to experience the variety of the menu. The food and service were exceptional in a very busy and friendly atmosphere. The wine choices included both Calif. and other wines, an important part of the Napa experience. Free center town parking always made the experience easier. Reservations are recommended.

We were lucky to get a table without reservation. The staff was wonderful and very helpful with selecting the food and wine. Very good wine list and the different small plates we had were among the best food we ever had in the US. A must visit!

Lovely staff, fantastic wine and the Truffle popcorn is so good! Love the cool, laid-back California vibe and outstanding service - we always come back here each year. Wish they had some local small production wines by the glass -- this is the ideal Venue in which to offer the fabulous local yet hard to find gems. Keep up the... More

We went to Carpe Diem on a busy Thursday night not expecting to get a table. They were very accommodating as we didn't have a reservation. The food was lovely and the service was great.

Had a couple of drinks and the tastiest cheese board ever! Highly recommended if you're in the area!

Carpe Diem offers a sophisticated, yet casual dining experience in the heart of downtown Napa. Our enthusiastic staff and lively atmosphere bring uniqueness to the table. An ever-changing wine list and family share-plate style menu elevates the dining experience from a mechanical process to a convivial experience. As an innovative restaurant, we modify our menu on the last Friday of every month. Executive Chef Scott Kendall and Chef De Cuisine Andrew Martin work together to create original dishes that our guests would not anticipate. Their most enjoyed plates include the ostrich burger with cranberry coriander compote, creamy brie and truffle fries or the housemade burrata which is mozzarella heaven served with cabernet sea salt, basil crystals and grilled bread. The chefs also keep things fresh with the soup of the moment and chef's selection of tacos updated weekly with seasonal ingredients. Guests are invited to personalize the dishes "Carpe style" by adding an organic poached duck egg and crispy pancetta to any plate. Wines and beers are expressly selected to compliment the food, enhancing the culinary experience at Carpe Diem. Our team is constantly searching for new wines and beers that will pleasantly surprise both locals and visiting guests. Carpe Diem Brewing Co. is excited to share their own beers exclusively at the restaurant. They will be featured on the eight constantly rotating tap handles alongside other local craft brews. Some of our unique wines include Outcast, Schramsberg, and Keever. Our extensive wine list with over forty wines by the glass entices our guests to sample something new and discover the perfect pairing with their meal.
