Had a couple of drinks and the tastiest cheese board ever! Highly recommended if you're in the area!

Great little wine bar in downtown Napa. The food is Italian in influence but modern in style. The mushroom flatbread (I'd call it a pizza) has the most fabulous mushroom intensity and tastes as good as it smell. The wine list covers Napa well but also a good selection of French and Italian.
The quality of the food made us think of being in Basque country - San Sebastian, Spain. We had the most fantastic food from the happy hour menu in Napa's Carpe Diem! The Wild Mushroom Flatbread was "to die for," as was the charcuterie board. The little shots of clam chowder were special, and the "Red Wine of the Week"... More
We normally travel to the area once a year but had not been for the past 2 years which included the earthquake which left Carpe Diem out of service for a while. We were very glad that they were back up and running for our recent visit! We always enjoy the quack and cheese which is a must try. We... More
Mediocrity described this establishment. The service was average and the food was sub par. The specialty flat bread was a strange combination of ingredients that no one in our part thought was eatable. With so many places to eat I'd think they would be more customer focused.
Carpe Diem was highly recommend by a couple of people, as well as online sites, but we wished we'd tried somewhere else. The food was fine, but it didn't wow us enough to overcome the odd coldness we received from our server. If you do go, try the pesto ricotta gnocchi. We didn't get it, but the table next to... More
Great location and wine selection. The food however was sadly lacking. We had flat-breads and some salads which were ok for appetizers , but the main course Gnochi dish was one of the worst I have ever experienced and sadly resulted in a very bad dining experience.
We choose Carpe Diem for dinner based on reviews and location. We started with a couple drinks, I had the Penicillin house drink which was really unique and refreshing. The build you own cheese & charcuterie board is also a winner. The aged Gouda was especially tasty. I had the ostrich burger(minus the bun), it was cooked well and very... More
Group of us went for dinner -6 of us. Food was great - brussel sprouts, truffle fries, meat and cheese plate and a mushroom pizza - all really good food. Service was okay - seemed like there was only one waitress but lots of helpers. Cozy location but all in all - great place for a casual meal.

We will have two vegetarians in our party and I am unsure if they will eat fish. Do you have many options for vegetarian dishes?
