I came here with friends for dinner and a drink. I ordered the chorizo tacos and a cucumber margarita. The waitress brought it a basket full of chips that weren't your usual corn chips. They were multi colored (red, purple and regular chips). The tacos were pretty flavorful and hefty. The highlight of the meal was the cucumber margarita, made... More

Went here tonight at last minute, it is busy, cozy, friendly and comfortable. Good beer selection and standard fare. Chili rellanos very good, salsa and chips likewise; didn't sample margaritas. Service very fast. Reasonably priced and good value. Decor as you would expect.

Strangely ? In the Napa Valley there are not a lot of outstanding and memorable Mexican eateries This one and Pacifico in Calistoga are the two best. Food is fresh tasting & service is good. Typical entrees like enchiladas , cheese sauces, rice and beans, We, on occasion, stop for lunch when we shop at the Safeway across the street.

As you enter, you have to usually stand in line to order and pay for your food. You then take your drinks and chips (water is available and self service beside the counter) and find your table, and after a few minutes your food is delivered to your table. The food is fresh, on hot plates, and very generous portions.... More

Big plates and very good food. The Asados are excellent and the salsa is very tasty. The only thing that let the place down were the quality of the Margaritas. Could do with more Tequila. Very good place though.

My husband and I went to this restaurant for lunch. We both had fish tacos, we totally loved the way they prepared and served the tacos. The plates were very large with two big tacos along with beans and rice which were also super delicious. The guacamole and warm chips were also amazing! The menu here has a ton of... More

Found this whole-in-the-wall location...breakfast time. The chips and salsa were supberb...pretty surprised by the salsa. Wife had typical gringo breakfast and enjoyed it. Our waitress was more concerned with gabbing with another table of guys who she knew.

This restaurant is more of a local hangout than a touristy place. So we're at Napa visiting the wineries and good eateries in the area. Decide to go off circuit and find Frida's, this was a good choice for us. Not too polished when compared to other establishments, but good food and relaxing. Just what my wife and I were... More

Went for dinner around 5:00pm on a Thursday. The place was packed with lots of locals as this is not the typical tourist place. They have a bar menu as well as a full menu. There is almost a pseudo-sports bar atmosphere, however the broadcast is not HD. I had the chili verde which was mild and chocked full of... More

Our family of four visited this restaurant after a busy day on the road, no one wanted to cook. Located in a strip mall, we were greeted and seated promptly. The waiter seemed a bit befuddled when taking our order, but it all came out okay. I ordered a special burrito with shredded beef, but it was a bit difficult... More
