Our first night in Napa was the only night we didn't make a reservation, and ugh. This place was busy when we walked by so we gave it a shot. The cocktails were Napa priced and the moscow mule wasn't worth $14 even if they stuck a $5 in the glass. I ordered $19 fish and chips that were a... More

Great spot for lunch. Very friendly & helpful staff. Tasty food, great value for money. Dessert portion was too large but no real complaints

There were several "celebrations" there wile we were. I enjoy a bar like atmosphere so we fit right in. In the busy downtown walking area.

We decided to dine here before a concert at the Uptown Theater, just a couple of blocks away. Loved that we could park once and then walk. Although the place was fairly busy we were seated immediately on the patio, which was very nice on a warm summery evening-- great people watching on that corner. Service was pretty good, and... The restaurant we were looking for was closed for renovations and we virtually stumbled in front of Norman Rose Tavern at lunch time. The restaurant was full so we decided to try it as it appeared to be popular. The service was average and the lamb and beef burgers were cooked to our liking. The prices were a bit steep,... More

We had lunch at the Norman Rose Tavern before the Bottlerock concert. The town was packed and, as a result, service was a bit slow. We ordered a non cooked appetizer after waiting awhile for our food. When it did show up, it was good! The ciders were also tasty.

Stopped in at Norton Rose 2x during my stay in Napa. It is a great local pub/restaurant, with a killer hamburger. Seriously, it was one of the best I have had in recent memory. The restaurant is very cool and laid back, simply a great place to drop in on and have a relaxing meal.

Popular spot for lunch or dinner in downtown Napa. Highly recommend the Buttermilk Fried Chicken sandwich (awesome), Cheeseburger, Lamb Burger, or Fish & Chips. Frito Burger Sliders, Mac & Cheese, and Truffle & Parmesan Fries are also excellent. Daily specials, wide beer, wine, & cocktail selection, great service. A local favorite.

Located in the heart of downtown Napa's West End District, the Norman Rose Tavern is that comfortable spot where you can meet family and friends for a nice cocktail, pint or glass of wine paired with a great burger and fries or other classic, American comfort food. The menu takes a local, sustainable approach to time-honored dishes like fish & chips, fried chicken, chop salad, mac and cheese, and much more, all prepared utilizing the fresh, seasonal and quality ingredients found in the North Bay. The design offers a rustic pub feel with modern touches created by Kimberly Nunn and Dan Worden of Shopworks in Napa. The thoughtful beverage list sports a collection of cocktails, wines and beers that soar two or three levels above most, with many outstanding and well priced Napa Valley wines. The by-the-glass list is impressive as well with over twenty wines by the glass. An extensive spirits list featuring classic cocktails round out the offerings.
