Very eclectic and cool. Live the front door handle(ax). Really super quesadilla and nachos. Have home made sauces with various roasted peppers. Pizza is to be eaten to be believed. It's all GREAT!!

We stopped in after walking around town. Service was good and the food was great. Really loved their pizza and the salsa was great too!

Good food, friendly staff, and nice location. The thing that impressed me the most was a little thing that they did, put up a huge bug/mosquito net along the outside wall of the space so sitting "outside" didn't mean sitting with the bugs, something my wife and daughter would have hated. I had the cheese burger which was good after... More

Nothing short of excellent for walk up fast food. Unusual pizzas, burritos and the fish tacos are the best in the world!

I used to live in Murphys as a child for a few years and many moons ago. The area has been built up a lot over the years with more choices in restaurants and shops. After reading the reviews and looking at the menu we decided to try Firewood Café. My family ordered the chicken burritos which were HUGE! I... More

The ambiance was great. The resturant was a converted fire station. The wood burning pizza oven made a great pizza. We had a spicy sausage pizza, and we could not stop talking about how good the crust was. It was crispy and had a great taste. The wine offered was nice and balanced. The atmosphere was very casual and a... More

We both ordered pizzas, ham/pineapple and spicy sausage. We really enjoyed the thin crust with crispy edges from the wood fire oven. These were not your usual franchise establishment pizzas. We saw other food being served to different tables and it all looked very good. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. All staff... More

Our pizza was pretty good. We were disappointed because the menu says the bbq chicken pizza had carmelized onions. Ours came with raw green onions on top. Pepperoni is ground, not the usual slices. Fish tacos were alright. They had a lot of fish.
