Hillbillies is adjacent to Murphys Inn, just off Hwy 4. The service was prompt and the coffee kept coming, even though the place was crowded and the staff very busy. I had the veggie omelet with home fries, and my wife had the sunrise scramble with hashbrowns. Both were very good

This restaurant was featured in one of Robert Irvine's Food/Restaurant Shows a few yrs. ago. It's directly across the parking lot from where we always stay (Murphy's Inn Motel). Came for breakfast. It was quiet, not busy. I think it was a Monday. Anyhow, food was average, service was average, not bad. Portions were big, I remember feeling like I... More

Stopped by while vacationing in Murphy's. The decor was very rustic and fit the name. The coffee was a little weak, but the chicken fried steak and biscuits were excellent. The gravy was made with sausage and had a little kick.

Was not as good as the last time I visited. The pancakes were raw in the middle, the hash browns tasted greasy, we ended up sending a plate back. Too bad this place is gone down hill.

Overall our favorite spot for breakfast. Real home-style cooking and a warm atmosphere. The waitress and locals were very welcoming which was nice as well. I definitely recommend the french toast combo, AMAZING!

Nothing fancy but really well themed and decorated with pallets and antiques. Service was immediate and efficient, food was good. Usual breakfast offerings, note to oatmeal eaters, they don't have brown sugar. Lots of locals so you know it's good!

My daughter and I brought the granddaughters, ages 6 & 2 for breakfast on our way out of town. We loved the decor - stage coach booths, rustic old tools, junk art and the funny signs of womanhood! The food was a tiny bit more costly than I normally like to spend, however, the ambiance is worth the extra dollars.... More

We stayed in the hotel just across the parking lot and this place was convenient and within walking distance. (50 yards) Greeted with a smile and a menu. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner one one menu. Service was quick and to the point. We were served our breakfast and everything was correct. I will eat here again. There were two sheriffs... More

What a great little breakfast place. And it was right next to our motel, so we didn't even have to drive. Super friendly server and her recommendation of the Blood Orange Mimosa was a hit. They serve a typical country breakfast and it was hot and tasty. My friend and I both had the eggs, hash browns, and biscuit. Everyone... More
