Very good dim sum with a nice selection. Carts come around frequently. As good as dim sum we've had in Chinatowns in New York, San Francisco and Philadelphia.

Owners "Ben" and "Simon" have developed huge business base from this Castro Street icon. Lunch is virtually 95% Dim Sum but you can order off menu if desired. Crowds of Asian tech-engineers, business folks, and large families pack the place for lunch. Dinner menu is gigantic and Asian specialities are featured including live seafood prepared specifically for your taste -... More

This is the second time I have eaten here for lunch. The restaurant is one of several Chinese restaurants on Castro Street. It Seems to always have a large number of Chinese diners. Which is generally a good sign for good food. It has a very large dinning and a second level. It can get very noisy. I have seen... More

The restaurant really requires you to know exactly what you want to order in order to get what the best food they offer. The staff often "recommends" Americanized-Chinese food if they see you as foreign, which I think is rather unfortunate. They have fairly decent dimsum, I wouldn't say it's the best in the south bay, but it's pretty decent... More

Opens pretty late at night. Has daily long-brewed soup which you may want to try. Food is good overall. Service is a bit slow and unresponsive.

Folks, this is not what good Chinese good should be. It is however acceptable, sort of a C to B- type food. Decor is good, the best of all Chinese eatery in Castro street. Service is good to spotty. You have to try to get their attention to do stuff for you, like filling your tea pot, needing extra silver... More

Typical of its type. A good sticky rice in leaf, but skimpy on Chinese sausage. Dumplings, shu mai all fine; "spare ribs" fattier than usual. Large regular menu including some exotica. Abalone still available, but at $60 a pop. Inexplicably the place stopped sending out dum sum at 1:30 on a weekday even though people were still eating. This wouldn't... More

We were early, so there were only a handful of others. The service was great. The food was really good and plentiful. We had the Salt & Pepper Fish Fillet, Clams in soup, Sauteed String Beans. This is an old-style Chinese restaurant. Asians tend to be very direct and may sometimes be considered rude by western standards :)

This place was so good for dim sum!! I never go to Asian places and expect good service, but we were lucky enough to have great servers who regularly filled up our waters and gave us whatever we needed. The food was yummy! It's a little pricey for dim sum, but totally worth it. Check it out if you're in... More

Average Dim Sum at best. We ordered the standard: a few dumplings, steamed BBQ buns, shrimp balls and added some rice noodles with shredded chicken; it was all ok except for the noodles that seemed to have been reheated a few times. Service is below average, waiter wouldn't even try to make a recommendation even after asking what he'd suggest... More
