Came here for a first date and was not disappointed! The atmosphere is very European and classy, the food was excellent - my paella full of seafood and flavorful! A nice Sangria, too. Very extensive menu with amazing variety of Latin dishes from all over the world.

Love Cascals! The food, service and ambience can't be beat. Snag a table outside during summer and watch the world go by as you sip on some great Sangria and nibble on their Tapas platter which is massive and awesome!

Nice looking atmosphere and decent staff - food wasn't that great for the price. I ordered the $25 meat sampler and received a plate of well displayed cold deli meats. Our table of eight cost nearly $450. Admittedly tapas aren't my thing, so maybe I'm jaded.

When you come all the way down from Brazil to Mountain View, to stay only a couple of days because of a tough working agenda, you ought to rest and eat properly! Thats exactly what happened recently when i found out Cascal, and liked a lot. Great finding, amazing food, reasonable prices, cozy service and gently people.

I met with two colleagues for a business dinner her and enjoyed 5 tapas plates and two desert plates between us (family style) with wine. A table in the back (away from the bar) allowed us to talk, eat, and enjoy the ambiance. Parking is readily available in a large public lot a block away

Still the #1 restaurant in Mountain View by TripAdvisor, this traditional Spanish restaurant is famous for its tapas style servings, happening live music and bar scene, lovely interior decor, long lines (so reserve your place early by calling in or using the online system) and big crowds (rather noisy too that you have to shout during conversations). We had the... More

They have a creative variety of tapas as well as fantastic entrees, but I think the ceviche (the assortment is a great way to go) is best in class. You cant go wrong with the charcuterie plate or the variety tapas platter if you want to try a number of different things. Great for solo, groups and families.

food is OK, but i would have preferred authentic Spanish tapas. Sometimes the whole Californian fusion vibe doesn't quite work. Ambiance was good and (Spanish) wine delicious.

Cascal is a very lively restaurant and probably one of the most popular in Mountain View. It's always busy. If you expect to have a good conversation, book a table outside; incredibly noisy inside even at lunch. Some dishes are very good, such as the mushroom empanadas and the black bean soup with sherry and others, such as the ceviche,... More

This is my favorite HH place in Mountain View. I do go there about 5x a year for years now. Everything, and I mean everything on their HH tapas list ist delicious. Service is always fast and super friendly. Never had a bad experience with service or were disappointed by the food.
