Went to Ephesus for lunch, with a group of colleagues. Found the restaurant to be comfortable and offering a fairly interesting selection of good Mediterranean food. The restaurant is on Castro Street in downtown Mountain View and is decorated in casual modern manner with Mediterranean references. It is plenty comfortable to spend time there. The menu has a range of... More

I very much enjoyed dinner with friends at Ephesus. Sat outside under the trees. Nice people, nice service. Lots of vegetarian options.

So a friend and I needed an afternoon meal, and the whole street smells great with all of the restaurants. The big "Mediterranean food" sign attracted us, and we headed over. We poked our head in the door and asked if we could sit outside. The server told us to just pick a table, and we did. Service was very... More

The food is delicious, both vegetarian and non vegetarian. We also had tried several appetizers and all were very tasty..Dolmades, Hummas, Tabouleh and Falafel. They also have excellent desserts.

My kids 9 and 12 years old and my husband< who is vegetarian, and I love this place! Fair prices, friendly staff, tasty food, cozy interior - everything in one. Could be crouded on Friday night but it is worth to wait.

Taste of the food is lacking Mediterranean character -- steamed vegetables aren't seasoned, not even with salt. Kebab was dry, moussaka had barely any meat at all in it.... Also they forgot to bring out at least a couple things from the order.

I have been to Ephesus a number of times. Always good.Good value. My husband raves about the Alexander. We have usually been seated right away but I would get a reservation for Fri or Sat night.

Went there for dinner with my cousin bro and his family ( with two kids ) . The service was very welcoming . True to the culture. The kids were comfortable. The food was served promptly. Ordered Kalamari. It was big and nicely cooked while retaining the freshness and the tenderness. The grilled fish was too huge to finish. Rice... More

The only good things are the service and the beer. Hummus was basic and moussaka was just bad: badly cooked, with too much potatoes and tasteless like an unfrozen one. Will not go back

Authentic Turkish cuisine in the heart of Silicon Valley. Service is great. Parking might be challenging on weekends.
