Had lunch there. Liked the variety, friendly service and delicious entree. It's reasonably priced, vegetarian friendly. Low noise level.

One of our favorite places on Castro Street, we have never been disappointed in any aspect of a meal here. Good service too!

This place has an excellent location, with inside and outside seating, well decorated and nicely appointed interior, comfortable and pleasant. Staff is very accommodating, responsive and caring. The food is very good even for a total food snub like me especially when it comes to...Turkish food.More

Be prepared for a wait on the weekend or popular time weekdays as this is popular due to great food, service, & ambiance.

Just stopped in for a Sunday lunch at Ephesus. This place feels like a nice family restaurant in Turkey. It's been a couple of years since I've visited Istanbul - but I periodically get a craving for Turkish Manti. The version at Ephesus manages to...satisfy my craving. Nice choices of salads and other entrees.More

In Mountain View there are many awesome restaurants but not many are under the relaxed atmosphere. To have dinner, wine 🍷 and a quiet conversation with friends to talk about family and or business this is my best recommendation at an affordable price in the...heart of Silicon Valley. The service is extremely friendly supported by the owners of the place who recognize their known customers. The menu is always fresh and enough for a good dinner. I also like their dessert selection and Turkish tea or coffee ☕️More

We've dined at Ephesus a LOT of times. And return again and again because the Turkish food is great. (We also dine at sister property around the corner). However, on our recent visit the service was horrible so it kind of ruined our experience. Not...sure how soon I'll give it another try ... if ever as there are so many great restaurants in the Bay Area. What a shame to take a great meal and ruin it ... because of lazy server that never even checked back with us.More

Arrived here around 5:15 p.m. on a Wednesday evening in August. We chose to sit outside, which is a bit noisy, as there is a lot of foot traffic, as well as car traffic during rush hour. It was also a bit breezy. But, if...you enjoy people watching, or having the chance to observe life, it’s nice to be outdoors. Most of the menu items involved eggplant, lamb, or beef, and as I’m not overly knowledgeable about Turkish/Greek/Mediterranean meals, & I normally eat mostly vegetarian dishes, I wasn’t sure which would be the best choice, so I asked the waiter. He said his favorite was Beyti. It is listed as one of their signature dishes, so I just went with it. The dish was beautifully arranged, in a circle of sliced meat wrapped in flatbread, with a tomato sauce and yogurt in the middle for dipping. It was delicious, and different, and a very enjoyable meal. A woman and her child sat at a table next to us, and she said she is from Turkey, and there are a few Turkish restaurants in downtown Mtn. View, but she thought this one was the best. They have several reasonably priced items on their menu. My first time there, but I would happily go back!More

Most of the dishes have similar taste to what you would have from a restaurant in Turkey. Lahmacun is awesome.

I was very hungry for a gyro sandwich and Avgolemono (Greek lemon) soup. For some reason the soup was not available as an aside with the gyro. The gyro was served as a wrap and not in pita bread. And feta cheese was $1 extra!...The gyro was nothing special. My lunch companion seemed to enjoy his rib steak special. Maybe I shouldn't have been in the mood for Greek?More
